14 Seconds Of ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’

Last month, The Twilight Saga: New Moon screened two clips from the film for the assembled folks at 2009 San Diego Comic-Con and within moments those clips were made available for viewing online. Today, we get to check out a new 14-second teaser clip that features all Bella Swan and Jacob Black … Team Edward folks might want to skip this clip:
This clip is far too short to be considered an actual movie trailer but it does give fans just enough tease to keep interest in the film going nice and strong. After the jump, check it out in full …
Because most of the rabid Twilighters have already read all the books (multiple times) and are well aware of how the story ends, there really is no mystery about how the relationship between Bella and Jacob turns out … but I can appreciate how nice it will be for fans to see the story acted out on the big screen. I’m curious to know if the director will take any liberties with the story, particularly when it comes to these two characters. Team Jacob fans have a lot to look forward to, I think.

Errr is it just me or did the make up department go wayyy overboard on trying to ‘pimp’ Kirsten Stewart in this movie?! Hello, Bella is supposd to be DULL y’all! The ONLY time she’s not supposed to be is ****BOOK 4 SPOILER***** when Edward turns her into a vampire. Ugh. I hate it so much when the characters have the same style as in the books (well, to some extent…) in the first movie and then they get pimped throughout the whole damn series. The same thing happened to the Harry Potter movies.

Ick that was a terrible trailer — probably to a terribly written movie. I think the dialogue is awkward. Who says “You’re kinda beautiful” (and how is a guy suppose to respond to that?). Taylor’s acting is just terrible with his weak attempt at “I know what he did to you”. Umm and what exactly did he do to her? Is Jacob really making a big deal out of Edward breaking up with Bella? Oh gee, how could he DO that? It’s just too much drawn out drama for me.
@ L – Nooooooo – I like her too! She’s edgy & I like her style. She does a great job as Bella IMHO :-)

I have a huge girl crush on Kristen… who I am pretty sure I just saw darting back into her hotel this morning. She has made the character sooooo much less annoying and whiny. If she had played it how SM had “written” it, I would have wanted to stab everyone with sharp pointy things.

To the person a few comments up… The line ” your’e kinda beatiful” is from the book and his response is sweet (don’t get the wrong idea i’m team edward) and how can you judge something on a 14 second trailer. I think this will be better than twilight the movie. I believe in Mellissa Ronenberg
