Twilight stars Ashley Greene, Nikki Reed and Noot Seear are joined by the ex-Twilight star Rachelle Lefevre in the new issue of Glamour magazine which went to press before the shocking announcement was made that Rachelle has been fired from the movie franchise. Titled Twilight Beauty, the ladies are featured in a photospread that is meant to highlight their natural as well as their made-up beauty … behold:

Yesterday was a bizzy day for me … but since it was my only full day here in Detroit, I had to pack in as much as possible. First, Tracey brought over my beautiful goddaughter Princess Zakiya and her little BFF Toni for an afternoon of shopping and playtime. She turned 4 this past Wednesday so we had some celebratin’ to do. Z will be starting school this Fall (WHICH I STILL CANNOT BELIEVE) so we shopped for school clothes and some toys for both the little ladies. Sarah came with us … here are a few pics:

Afterward, Sarah and I got ready and made our way to downtown Detroit to see Tori Amos play a show at the Detroit Opera House. Last night’s show was the third of her Sinful Attraction Tour that Sarah and I got to see … and Tori did NOT disappoint! She looked and sounded AMAZING:

My girl Kristin Cavallari spent part of her weekend chillin’ in Malibu, CA hangin’ with some friends and filmin’ some scenes for the upcoming new season of The Hills. KC was very keen on showing off her bangin’ beach bod on the beach this weekend … behold:

As much as I love seeing photos of Kristin filming scenes for The Hills, I’m gettin’ kinda tired of the foreplay already … bring on the show already. I haven’t been this excited to watch The Hills in ages. I’m confident that Kristin will bring the drama and much entertainment when she takes over the reigns as the reigning queen of the faux-reality series on MTV. Weee … can’t wait!!

As each day passes without news that American Idol and/or Paula Abdul have come to their senses and gotten back together, it’s becoming less and less likely that Paula will return to the AI fold and get her job back. But, altho AI might be out of the picture it looks like Paula will be able find work elsewhere. We know that So You Think You Can Dance? really wants to get Paula on board on their show but methinks they don’t have the money to nab her … but the head honchos at ABC are now courting Ms. Abdul to join their wildly successful and popular competitive reality TV series Dancing with the Stars. ABC will take Paula in whatever capacity they can get her — as competitor or as judge:

While Paula Abdul won’t be returning to FOX’s American Idol, it seems plenty of other networks are interested in courting her for their reality TV competition shows. So is there a possible spot for Abdul at the judges’ table with Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli–the three judges on Dancing with the Stars? “Absolutely. I would love that,” ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson told reporters at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Pasadena on Saturday. “I was a little stunned by the decision, and we would love to have her on Dancing.” McPherson added that Abdul could be added either as a participant, dancer or judge. “I think she’s a huge talent,” said McPherson. “There’s a sensitivity and an empathy that balances out Idol, and we’d love to get a piece of that.”

To be honest, there is no show bigger than American Idol on US TV right now … but Dancing with the Stars is up there in popularity. My guess is that, should Paula join the show, she will do so as judge not as competitor. I highly doubt she would risk putting her dancing reputation on the line to compete with the possibility that she might lose. If she joins the show, she’ll do so as judge. Considering that Paula got her start in showbiz as a choreographer, I think a dancing show would be best for her … absent a late night call from FOX begging her to come back to AI, that is. Whatever Paula decides to do, I’ll have her back. She and I go waaaaay back. She will be Forever My Girl.

2009 San Diego Comic-Con may have ended weeks ago but it continues to bear its geeky fruit to the legions of fans who love all things comics/sci-fi/fantasy … including fans of Iron Man. Yesterday afternoon, 5 minutes of footage that was screened at Comic-Con this year finally made its way to the Internets for all to see. The footage isn’t really all that action-packed but we do get a glimpse of Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) in action and a pretty good look at Whip Lash (Mickey Rourke) … AND our first look at War Machine in action:

You know it was bound to happen that someone with a Flip cam will have gotten the courage to post footage they shot at the now-legendary Hall H Presentation for Jon Favreau’s Iron Man 2. Robert Pattinson, who is currently in LA to make an appearance at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards but will be making his way to Vancouver, BC shortly to begin production on The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, was spotted making his way out of Hotel Cafe this weekend with a bit of an injury on his right hand … could the emotive vampire actor have gotten himself in a brawl?

While this little bruise may not look like much to you, I understand it is quite an injury for an Englishman. I can only imagine what the other guy looks like, geeze. I suppose we shouldn’t be surprised, tho. R. Pattz is a lover, not a fighter … and thankfully so. Methinks Robbie would not really do well in a serious scrap with another person … unless that other person is a prepubescent child and then, well, it really cold go either way. Robert Pattinson should stick to the things he knows best … lookin’ broody and hot. In that department, he cannot be beat.
