‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ Reveals Two Scenes From The Movie
Brace yourselves, y'all ain't ready for this

Yesterday we saw photos of Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner at the San Diego Comic-Con press conference which took place on Thursday and earlier today we got our first look at the new Jacob Black (shirtless and ripped) action figure. But right now, we get to see TWO new clips from the forthcoming sequel film The Twilight Saga: New Moon which were previewed at Comic-Con earlier today:

Much love goes out to Pink reader Molly who gave me the head’s up on these two new clips. The vids were shot by excited fans in the audience so the picture quality isn’t the best … but you can still make out very clearly what is going on. Trust me, you’re gonna wanna see these clips. After the jump, check them both out in full …

Clip 1 features Bella Swan (Kristen Stweart) Jacob Black (Taylor Lautner), a motorcycle, a whole lotta flirting … and some underage shirtlessness:

Clip 2 features Bella Swan and Alice Cullen (Ashley Greene) in Italy … oh yeah, and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) giving us a bit more shirtlessness:

Oh man … Twilighters are gonna die when this movie comes out — if they haven’t already from just seeing these clips alone. So …. do we love?

I haven’t read the books and I never will but I did see the first movie and it was terrible. However, New Moon seems like it is actually going to be a decent movie and way better than the first one. I cannot wait to see it!!

  2. pw says:

lol, fangirls are hilarious. gratuitous shirtlessness FTW!

  3. allytartcheck/ Ringing Ears says:

lol @ Bleeding Ears & leanne! I watched the clips last night and my hearing is about back to normal. I certainly love some gratuitous shirtlessness on *men* but nearly gagged at how low-slung RP’s pants were. Seeing TL rip off his shirt was funny; seeing RP’s pubic line was disturbing.

  4. geana says:

hahahaha ok they were some pretty good clips but was i the only one laughing my butt off listening to the girls in the first clip? they were too funny!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Sucks tho, there’s no WAY I’m going to see the movie during the first couple of weeks out if I have to deal with annoying ass fan girls screaming like that every time EC or JB come on screen! Its okay, let them have their fun :) Can’t wait!!!!

  7. Gaby says:

Can’t wait, the scenes look pretty good. Good choice choosing both shirtless scenes for the pleasure of the viewers. Im fully loaded on excitement!

Jenie, is that you up there??? I am so excited to see the movie! I’m 28 and I love all the books! My sister wants to see the first showing with me and thinks it won’t be that bad because it’s midnight on a school night so the youngsters won’t be in full force… but I say she is sooooo wrong! I’m not excited at the possibility of dealing with screaming girls in the theater. Hopefully they will have a theater employee make an announcement before the show that they need to shut the hell up or they will be kicked out

I understand people want to see things about upcoming movies, like those of the Twilight series, but the reason Comic Con is able to share these exclusive clips with dedicated fans is that those fans agree not to record them.

I go to Comic Con almost every year and wait in longs lines sometimes for hours to see never be for seen footage or trailers. I think people who record exclusive footage of movies and T.V. shows at Comic Con spit in the eye of everyone who takes time out of their lives to go to Comic Con and wait in those lines.

I love this site and I understand this site is about delivering entertainment news, but I hope that its authors, by including the pirated video even as a link, do not encourage such behavior to continue. If it does, I am afraid that the Studios will be less likely to screen exclusive footage and trailers at Comic Con.

    • @Anthony — I sorta see your point but Comic-Con has grown to a level where studios count on online buzz to help promote their movies/shows. While you think that sharing the events of Comic-Con to those who cannot make their way to San Diego, CA is “spitting in the eye of everyone who can”, I see it as a service to share the experience as best they can with those who cannot attend. Attendees of Comic-Con are not forced to attend, they choose to. Neither is it an exclusive club, it’s open to the public. If Studios did not want the footage to be shared with the wider audience, they would not allow cameras or cell phones on the premises … that will never happen. Comic-Con will continue as it always does and the footage will be shared as soon as it is made available.

  16. Anthony says:

Thank you for your quick response to my comments and I also understand the points you made about attendees and the studios wanting promotion.

My main problem with people recording exclusive content during Comic Con programs is not rooted in the buzz it may generate, but instead in the fact that Comic Con attendees pay good money to see these exclusives.

To attend Comic Con most people have to pre-register and pay, at least for this year, $75 for a four-day pass or one day pass of about $40. The attendees either pay to stay in hotels near the convention center which costs about $185 a night, not including the cost of the flights, or they drive down to San Diego. If people drive down to San Diego they pay to park, which costs around $15 a day. Yes, Comic Con is a public event, but it is not free to attend which I think garners it some exclusivity.

In addition studios allow cell phones, cameras, and laptops, not because they wish to have the exclusive video and image content distributed out on the Internet, but because they want people to generate buzz through their words.

  17. KellyK says:

Anthony, do you feel like you wasted your money by attending because you saw these clips on the internet? Do you feel like you didn’t see anything else worthwhile at Comic-Con other than these clips? Did you not enjoy yourself while there and felt it was money well spent, until you came home, saw these clips on the internet, and said to yourself, “Man, I could have saved myself a couple hundred dollars!”? Cause I’m pretty sure Comic-Con represents and celebrates a little more than just New Moon. And I would hope that every person attending the convention and paying money to do so is having a 4-day experience quite different than those of us who just watched about 5 minutes of video.

  18. Anthony says:

I did enjoy myself at Comic Con and I saw many cool things, but that doesn’t mean I think people should pirate exclusive Comic Con videos and pictures online.

My problem with this practice has more to do with people who feel that they are above the rules set down by comic con and the studios when exclusive content is provided for attendees.

Yes, I agree Comic Con does have a lot of excellent programming other than Twilight: The New Moon, but on this blog this was the only post about I found had pirated content from Comic Con linked to it.

I am not upset because of the buzz generation, but because of the principle of the matter that my fellow attendees and I paid with our hard earned money to have the right to see exclusive content by waiting in long lines in the heat. I feel people should respect that commitment and keep their cameras turned off during those screening. I feel the rule not to record exclusive content should be followed when studios bring it for Comic Con attendees.

  19. Danielle N says:

Does anyone else feel like a total pervert? Taylor is a mere 17, and yet I cannot stop looking. Hot damn.

  20. Kelly says:

These clips (I believe) are the same clips that are supposed to be played at some movie thats coming out in August called Bandslam which is also produced by Summit Entertainment. They would have made it to the internet eventually. I just wish those girls weren’t talking during part of it.

But yes Taylor is SO yummy, I wish he were legal! haha
