‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ Launches Its Official Website

Pink reader Ashley gave me the heads up that the official website for the upcoming sequel film The Twilight Saga: New Moon launched on Wednesday afternoon and is now LIVE with photos, video and more! The site loads an impressive Flash animation of the official movie poster (which was released last May) and offers a lot of goodies for rabid Twilighters to enjoy:


The site offers video, AIM icons, computer wallpapers and an interactive widget that fans can post on their blogs or Facebook/My Space pages. After the jump, check out one of the widgets that has been made available on the site for fan use — be warned, the widget features the official trailer and autoplays


No word on if this widget will be updated remotely with new footage as new footage becomes available but, it’s fun nonetheless. I fully expect that all self-respecting Twilighters out there will add this new site to their bookmark links immediately.

    The website looks fun! I love how you can go to La Push and inside the Cullen house..I can’t wait to see what else they will add to it.

    looks very good, im impressed with the all the new promo shots of the cast, very vivid and clear! im sure more stuff will be added as we get closer to the release date!!!! Can’t wait!

    Esme’s “special ability” is to love passionately and Rosalie’s is to be beautiful. Edward gets super speed and strength (and the others don’t??) and Bella gets ‘clumsy and attracts bad luck’ before ‘mind can’t be accessed by vampires’

    They should re-write those little blurbs. They sound stupid. I guess they have to work with what Meyer gave them but I’m sure they could do better. Psh. Being able to love isn’t a special ability.

    yeah, they could re-write the blurbs… but about esme’s ability to love being a special ability of hers as a vampire: i always assumed she loves much much more strongly now…. and rosalie is that much more beautiful and conceited now. just my opinion.

    im way to excited about the site! ha!

    Maybe some of you die hard twilight fans can enlighten me, I thought that it was Jasper and Alice that had the last name Hale, not Rosalie. Because didnt Alice and Jasper come at a later time together?
    I dont know… can someone clarify?

    oooh one of the best things i love about twilight is that yes money is involved and the creators know the fan base is so big its obviously going to make money – but they’re not like warner brothers timing things to make more money, ignoring the wishes of the fans to make more money and putting the film back. they’re genuinely getting straight down to it and keeping us all on the hook – they care about the fans more than money (twilight do i mean)
