Rachel Bilson Shows Off Her Engagement Bling
Last February we learned the fairly shocking news that Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen got engaged to be hitched (even more surprising, we learned the couple had been secretly engaged since last December) but almost as soon as the news broke that the couple were engaged, they seemed to fall off the face of the planet. Rarely have the couple been seen out in public together so, in all honesty, I had forgotten that they were even engaged … fess up, did you remember they were engaged before reading this post? BUT, I came upon new photos of R. Bils out and about here in SoCal yesterday and homegirl was flashing her engagement bling like nobodies biz … I guess she really wanted to remind us that she is really gettin’ hitched:
HMMM … well, at least that’s a nice ring. And as they say, where there’s a ring, there’s a guy with really great taste in jewelry … which still makes the whole Bilson engaged to Christensen thing still seem a bit weird. I gotta say … I never really saw Hayden Christensen as a ladies man … but, well, I guess he is. Seeing this ring on Rachel’s finger just drives home the fact further that she and Adam Brody will prolly never get back together again :( Ah well … she looks happy. A rock that big would make anyone happy, right?

That ring isn’t really all that impressive. I have seen bigger rings on the secretaries in the building where I work in NYC. Maybe this ring is better quality, tho.

Wouldn’t the first real proof be the announcement that they’re engaged? Plenty of guys don’t propose with a ring because they want to make sure she gets exactly what she wants (my bf already knows exactly the ring I want, but we both know he’d get the wrong size, so if we decide to get married we’d have to pick it out together). And some women just don’t want a ring. It doesn’t mean she’s not getting married.

And while I’m not impressed by the ring, and I’m sure secretaries have bigger ones, I gotta say, Lula, I find Rachel’s disgustingly big. I’d be upset if my bf gave me something like that.

ummmm i was 100% sure hayden was gay because a few years back i saw him here (in vancouver) with a man friend. he might be pulling a tom cruise as a career move.

I’ve always wondered how these gay rumors got started. I’ve seen tons of candid shots of Hayden making out with women in public but have never seen any photographic evidence of him in an intimate moment with a dude. Plus, the guy dresses like a slob and spends his spare time racing cars and driving heavy equipment at his farm. Doesn’t sound like your typical gay lifestyle.

I really like the band on the ring. The diamond itself is huge. I think it is very pretty but it isn’t exactly something I would want. It looks like it would get in the way! haha. Hayden is damn fine too! Cuteee!

Poor girl’s intellectually challenged as evidence of bizarre above pictures. She has made her ‘fiance’ a laughing stock in the eyes of the world. He really should ditch this dwarf dodo and upgrade to a more sophisticated model.

see, this is what’s wrong with this world. why can’t you just be happy the girl found someone to love? no, you gotta be haters and insult her and her man. and no i’m not a fan of either one. but you need to be careful what you say because one day you’re gooing to have to explain yourselves to God. and he’s not going to be happy with you for the lies and the hate you spread.
