Earlier this week we got our first look at the new batch of very vibrant, very pink Candie’s promo photos featuring their new spokesmodel Britney Spears. Just when you thought that magenta hay barrels and snow white horses was enough to make your sweet tooth rot, we get to check out a few more promo pics from the set. Oh man … I love Britney and she deffo takes the blue ribbon but for being a cheese ball rather than being Best Dressed ;) Seriously, this new Candie’s ad campaign is so over-the-top … it’s like Lisa Frank puked all over the place and then Candie’s thru in Britney, a horse and other accoutrements. Aw, in the 2nd photo after the jump, she looks like pre-meltdown Britney. The other photos are too cheesy for me, but I love that 2nd photo.
i like this campaign but i feel like britney should be doing more mature shoots. she’s kind of old for this stuff.
Are you seriously not going, Trent? D: I really wanted to thank you in person for giving me the tickets to Britney’s Oakland show. I’m going to the Circus again at the Staples Center, and I’m driving 8 hours there and another 8 hours back just to see Britney again. Sucks your not going

but i had a good laugh the other day…i read the candies said those other pics werent photoshopped just “slightly retouched”, i dunno who they were trying to kid.
It really is over the top and I keep wondering where the unicorn is. I love the last picture.

I LOVE the last pic, she looks abso stunning! But to be honest, i dont really like the whole campaign.
I don’t get the previous commenters at all. I mean, Britney is ONLY 27 years old and people think she’s too old to be posing in certain photoshoots… it’s honestly ridiculous. A lot of people (who are older than Britney: Madonna, Janet, etc.) do a lot of stuff that’s too young for their age and yet they don’t nearly get half as scrutinized as Britney does. It’s ridiculous. And yes, the photos are pretty much photoshopped to death and as you can see from the video Britney still looks great… it isn’t Britney’s fault they photoshopped the pictures, is it? Give me an effing break.

Britney was Never this thin even when she was 19 and if you saw her live on the Circus Tour she has fat rolls.These photos remind me a lot of her singing FAKE!!!!!What was wrong with her lips couldn’t they leave them along.
She is far too old for this crap and I hate the over the top photoshop they have going on. Airbrush a big blemish but don’t make the person unrecognizable! It’s stupid.

This is sooo over the top. But a bit of fun, too. The kind of ads where you cringe when you see the photos but nod a bit in approval when you finally see the clothes. :D
I think they’re cute. Candies is a chessy brand, lol, so it is any surprise the ads are pink and floofy. But the pictures are adorable and I much prefer them to the over-sexed or high-fashion-wannabe look other brands use.
As for the photoshopping, everyone ovderdoes it these days and it’s kinda sad. Looking at the vidoes, Britney looks so fantastic and no, I don’t see fat rolls (here, or on her tour pictures!!!) I see a woman with a toned physiques, curves in all the right places, and a body I’d love to have! People need to quit hating!
