I think he looks good. i like the hairiness of his face, the unibrow and the dark peach fuzz. i wish he didn’t wear the sunglasses, though. i even like the visible wig netting and flaws, its a great shot, for mj fans to get a taste of what they might see in the morning. His ambulance pic was beautiful too and that was totally sans makeup.

Just some info for the road;
He was burned [remember that horrible accident at the pepsi commercial?] and was partially bald because of it so he used expensive weaves and wigs…
He was getting fixed up [no surgery] recently before his passing by his dermatologist to make him more natural after all those plastic surgery mistakes.
Michael Jackson was HUMAN. He was 50. He was[is] the King of Pop.
I like these pictures because theyre real, honest and human. He was who he was, leave it alone.

Uh, the dude is 50. Take a look around at the 50 year olds you know. They might not have scary nose but I bet they have some balding, fat rolls, liver spots, wrinkles or worse. He’s a human, age 50. Having him look perfect goes against the laws of the universe. Maybe we should just get over it.

I actually really like this picture…..I think he looks a lot better in it then some of others photos I have seen. His nose doesnt looked so jacked up in it so that’s good. I really think he was getting his life back together for these shows, just heartbreaking that its all gone now.

so it’s not airbrushed or made-up. for me, this is one of the more real photos i’ve seen of him in a while.

i just saw that he lost hair after the accident during the pepsi commercial. he had several skin grafts to fix the burns he suffered.

From what I’ve read, the autopsy was leaked and it talked about how horrible he had aged, he had to wear a wig because he nothing but peach fuzz on his head.

tatiana – I’m pretty sure that the photos were touched up. As a photographer I’ve had experience with people who didn’t look that great and so when doing touch ups I can make them look 100% better and natural but they still need a miracle. I’m sure that Q magazine did what they could to make him look as good as possible, yet that was the best they could do and still have him look as human as possible.

Honestly, I agree with most people on here, I like the photos. I think they are gritty, real, human, and sexy. He looks good…he looks like Michael Jackson.

I don’t like these photos because I think they wanted to bring home the fact that he wasn’t well. Even if that was true, why publish an untouched photo. Its very disrespectful.

I totally agree with carrie. Sure, the pictures may be a little unflattering, but they’re who he was. It has an honesty to it that many magazines are shying away from now.
