It’s not uncommon for medics to “work” a dead body if the family wants them to. Especially if it’s a kid. And I don’t know if it’s this way in all states, but where I live if the person dies after they start working on them, whether or not they’ve been put on the ambulance, they legally are still alive, and the medics have to continue working on them.
Okay…I’m 28 and I’ve never been in love either. I think Rupert is perfectly normal.
