Japan Releases A New Batch Of Michael Jackson Action Figures
In the wake of the death of Michael Jackson, a bunch of new merchandise has made its way to the marketplace … not the least of which is the toy market. Japanese toy maker Hot Toys was commissioned to create Michael Jackson action figures to be released to coincide with his This Is It Tour that was scheduled to begin on July 13. Despite MJ’s untimely death, the toys have been made available for sale and, IMHO, look pretty cool too:

These toys were designed to be collector’s items, some of which come with a pretty high price tag (¥24,000 each or about $255.00). They will be available for sale this December, in time for your holiday shopping needs. After the jump, check out some of the other MJ toy offerings that are being made available by Hot Toys …

Man, the Japanese know how to make cute things. Some of these little figures are adorable. I’m sure there are quite a few MJ fans out there who will be happy to shell out whatever the cost to own all of these action figures. Will YOU be one of them?

I would love one but my husband is STILL giving me the side-eye over the $125 I spent on an MJ doll a few weeks ago. Maybe if the prices go a little lower.
