Guess Whose Auntie Rocks
Game Time!! Can you guess which cute little boy was spotted out and about on the streets of Beverly Hills, CA yesterday afternoon in the company of his auntie and grandmother? The tyke, pictured below, was sporting a t-shirt that read, My Auntie Rocks:

HMMMM … not sure yet? Here are a few clues … this little boy’s auntie is married to one of the most successful rappers in the game, she is a fierce live performer and put on an absolutely STUNNING concert at the Staples Center here in downtown Los Angeles, CA last night. After the jump, find out who it is …
It’s the one and only Beyoncé Knowles:

While she insists she’s not ready for motherhood yet, Beyonce Knowles got into practice by spending the day caring for her four-year-old nephew. The singer was spotted teaching Daniel Julez about designer sunglasses as the pair and Beyonce’s mother Tina shopped on Beverly Hills’ Rodeo Drive. Despite Beyonce’s fashionable outfit, she was upstaged by her young nephew, who was wearing a black T-shirt with the logo ‘my auntie rocks’. Already adapting to the celebrity lifestyle at a tender age, Daniel wore a blue pair of Oakley sunglasses. After perusing the racks of shades in the Ilori boutique in Beverly Hills’ most expensive shopping venue, Beyonce was happy to let Daniel take the lead as he dragged her out of the store. Matching her high fashion environment, the 27-year-old singer was bang on trend in a pair of PVC knee-high gladiator heels and strapless brown playsuit. Notably absent was Daniel’s mother Solange Knowles – Beyonce’s younger sister – so presumably auntie Beyonce had been left in charge for the day … While Beyonce has frequently spoken of her love for little Daniel, she admitted she is reluctant to go through childbirth herself. Although happily married to rapper/producer Jay-Z, Beyonce is in no rush to start a family. She said: “I’m terrified of delivering a child because I saw my nephew being born. That traumatised me. I’m only 27. I’ve got time.”
Okay, I realize that the clues were a dead giveaway but with an artist as accomplished as Beyoncé is, it’s hard to be subtle. People, I can absolutely confirm that little Daniel’s auntie does, indeed, rock. Beyoncé made an absolute believer out of me. Her show last night was nothing less than spectacular. I’ve never seen a pop performer put that much talent and energy into a live performance before. For over 2 hours, Beyoncé KILLED vocally, acrobatically and, yes, fiercely. I’ll have my full review of her concert last night (with a bunch of photos) a little later on today but, again, Beyoncé honestly and truly made a bigger fan out of me last night. Beyoncé does rock!!

Do you like her more than Jennifer Hudson now?

@Denise — I’ll say that J. Hud is still the more powerful singer but if we’re talking whole package (ie. singer, dancer, performer) than Beyonce deffo takes the cake. I’m not even kidding, Beyonce’s concert last night was better in the first 3 songs than the entirety of either Madonna or Britney’s concerts. B just turned it out the entire time! I was so impressed.

Ughhh, I can’t wait to see your review! Speed it up Trent, I’m getting anxious over here! ;)

That was an easy guess even without the clues.

Trent, are you going to write a review for the Beyonce concert yet? I mean the fact that she sings live is enough to make it better then the Britney concert.

She performed at the Essence Festival here in New Orleans…now I’m sorry I missed it:(

Can’t wait to hear what you thought, Trent. I saw her in Dallas last Sunday night, and I am absolutely a fan now! I’ve never seen a performer bring it like B.

I saw her in Dallas also and she was unbelievable! I’ve never been much a fan of hers either until now. She put on one heck of a show. Another one who’s great in concert? Pink!!! She’ll be in Dallas in September and from the looks of her concert overseas, this is another one that shouldn’t be missed. So excited!

That’s pretty strong from as big a Madonna fan as you are…interesting!

I saw B in Dallas also on 7/5 – the girl was on FIRE! I loved her concert style, she looked amazing and was absolutely fierce. Her dedication to the King at the end was classy.
Heather – Can’t wait to see Pink 9/23 and Britney will be back in Dallas 9/18!

I can’t wait to hear your review! I really wanted to go to that show, but alas, it was not to be. I have always thought that she brings so much energy and dynamics to her shows…so it kind of surprised me that you always liked Britney better than Beyonce. Britney’s movements are a bit sleepy for my taste, but to each their own. I really like how Beyonce has intent and passion with every move and note she sings. She tells a story with her performances.
