First Look: The Volturi Of ‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’
Italian Bloodline

Some industrious kids on the Internets have come upon a few promo pictures of some of the members of the Volturi vampire clan as they appear in the upcoming sequel film The Twilight Saga: New Moon. As you may recall, we saw photos of Dakota Fanning in costume as Jane of the Volturi on the Italian set of New Moon last month and just last week we got to check out a pretty good but entirely fake poster of Jane from New Moon … but these new photos appear to be the real deal. They even come with the crest of the Volturi to add credence to their authenticity:

While it’s true that anyone with a penchant for Photoshop and lots of time on their hands can come up with a graphic like this (or fake, fanmade promo pics), I think the leaked photos are genuine promo pics. After the jump, check ‘em out for yourselves and see what Jane, Aro, Caius, Marcus and Alec of the Volturi will look like in The Twlight Saga: New Moon

OOOOOOOHHHHHHH … scary. Judging by the TWO short vid clips that we saw from Comic-Con over the weekend, it really looks like the production value of New Moon is significantly improved over Twilight. I’m pretty sure that these baddies in motion will be quite scary … even if their promo pics are a bit corny. No matter … it’s still very cool to get this first look at the Volturi, don’t you think? Are you impressed?

are you sure that these aren’t fakes? they look very photoshop-ed! and surely they would have been airbrushed? they look great anyway, i just think they’re fakes.

  14. Ama says:

@ Erica- I believe its because she has talent :)

  15. Kristi says:

While i was reading the books I pictured Alec older, but I think they cast a perfect Jane, and since Alec is her twin it makes sense now that he looks as young as she does…

  16. Karen says:

Dakota Fanning looks like Alyssa Milano in this picture.

  17. Meream says:

I hope the movies after Twilight are better than the books. I really really hope.

  18. Katie says:

I pictured them to be a hell of a lot scarier. Aro looks far too pudgy to be frightening, and Caius appears to be a Legolas wannabe.
