Filming On ‘The Runaways’ Continues In SoCal
Last week we saw photos of Kristin Stewart (portraying Joan Jett) and Dakota Fanning (portraying Cherie Currie) filming their first scenes for their new biopic movie The Runaways and today we get to see a few more photos from the SoCal movie set. Kristen (as Joan) gets unruly on top of a car while Dakota (as Cherie) rocks a pair of unruly platform high heel boots:
Those are some serious boots, Dakota! Damn. I gotta admit, tho, the more I see from this movie the more I want to see the final product. I’m a fan of quite a few songs by The Runaways, I’d really love to see how they got their start in the biz. After the jump, check out a photo of Kristen and Dakota with some of their film castmates — I believe it is our first look at the main characters in The Runaways …
It’s unclear if these other ladies are the actresses portraying the other members of The Runways (ie. Lita Ford, Sandy West, Jackie Fox) or merely supporting cast but they’ve all deffo got the 70s look goin’ on. I do love watching this movie being filmed … I can’t wait to see more.

I just hope it’s gritty and real like the Runaways were and not all dumbed down for teenage audiences. It’s got to be a wild story!

i feel the same the more i see the more i want to watch this movie i love the second pic where dakota is so higgh above kristen because of the boots.thanks for posting

I just want to see the trailer of this movie. Hopefully K-Stew can put it to the table! If not, well… there’s always 2 more Twilight movies to film! : )

i’m sure the story is a great one, but this LOOKS like pure sh*t. They are trying so hard with the costumes and none of these little girls is pulling it off. Not convincing.
