Eminem Blasts Mariah Carey In A New Diss Track
In the seemingly unyielding back and forth battle between Mariah Carey and Eminem, the latest volley attack has been unleashed upon the world. As you may recall, Mimi released a new music video for her single Obsessed wherein she played a stalker in the video that bared a striking resemblance to rapper Eminem who previously put MC on blast after he reportedly hooked up with her a few years back. Now, Em has released a new diss track called The Warning wherein he addresses Mimi’s attack on him and he levels his own attack/threats on her:
Eminem and Mariah Carey are at it again. On Thursday, the rapper debuted a new song, “The Warning,” slamming his ex and going into full detail about a sexual encounter they once had. “Only reason I dissed you in the first place is because you denied seeing me. Now I’m pissed off,” he says before he starts his rap. “You wanna hear something wick wack?/ I got the same exact tattoo that’s on Nick’s back,” he says, referring to Carey’s husband Nick Cannon. Eminem also blasts Carey for mocking him in her latest music video, “Obsessed.” “Oh gee, is that supposed to be me in the video with the goatee?/ Wow Mariah, didn’t expect ya to go balls out./ Bitch, shut the fuck up before I put all those phone calls out/ When you was wilding out/ Before Nick, when you was on my dick,” he raps. He then threatens to reveal personal pictures he has of the Carey. “Mariah, it ever occur to you that I still have pictures?” he asks. The feud between the two began earlier this year after Eminem namedropped Carey in the track “Bagpipes From Baghdad” from his latest album Relapse. “Mariah whatever happened to us / Why did we ever have to break-up?” he rapped. “Nick Cannon, you better back the fuck up. I’m not playing, I want her back, you punk.” Cannon later shot back on his blog, calling the rapper (who goes by the name “Slim Shady”) “Slim Lamey.” He added that Eminem is “still obsessed with my wife, the same female that wouldn’t let him get to second base from 8 years ago.” A month or so later, Carey got the last laugh by mocking Eminem in “Obsessed.”
Children, can’t you two play nice? I have to say … as embarrassingly juvenile as all of this public fighting is, I have to admit that it’s terribly entertaining. For the life of me, I do not understand why Mariah Carey insists on going up against a diss maestro like Eminem. She will never win in a war of words with him … and if she’s counting on her young hubby Nick Cannon to defend her honor, well, I’m afraid he’s not much of a match for Marshall Mathers. If explicit photos of her do exist and they are in Em’s possession, they’re gonna get out. Why piss off a person — who has no qualms about taking things too far — with such dangerous ammunition? LMAO! Eminem really can bust a rhyme … this shizz is hilarious. He really does unleash on Ms. Carey and at the end he even uses recordings of her in the track! If Mimi is smart, she’ll just let it go. But, my guess is that Nick will have something smart to say … and the fighting will move on to the next level. If things do carry on from here, expect those naughty pics to be hittin’ the Internets in no time at all. So … are you on Team Mariah or Team Eminem?

lol I LOVE his diss. Eminem is brilliant and I’m totally on his side. I can’t imagine him claiming he was with someone if he really wasn’t. And Nick getting involved is hilarious. How old is he, 12? “second base”. I love this feud.

After hearing his new song, it would appear that Mariah is right. Eminem is in fact obsess with her. Messing with him in her song is a big mistake though. No one can out-whine/out-diss/out-rhyme Eminem. Though I find his new song hilarious, I can’t help but wonder what his 14 year old daughter feels about this. I hope Marshall saved enough money to pay for her therapist.

mariah and her man-boy of a husband need to back off Em. he’s proven he’s got some stuff on her that he can unleash and embarass her and quite honestly Em will not hesitate to destroy himself in the process to ruin her if he can. it’s funny and sad all at the same time. but I really hope mariah and nick just shut up and let it go, because if not they’re in for it.

I think they are both doing fine career wise but this fued does help them both – even when negative. It’s not 100% serious, there is a lot of planning on both sides.
I think it is what Eminem says – they had a thing (brief), she denied it and he’s poked at her for denying it. She looks better for not appearing to have carred about him and he looks better for having been with her and she was all about him.
In the end, it doesn’t really matter what happened. This is entertaining but I can see it getting taken too far if they don’t agree to move forward soon.
I’m fans of both and personally I don’t care what happened as long as they put out good music. But she is at risk of looking pretty bad out of this if evidence does exist.

I am truly disappointed in your support of Eminem’s misogynistic remarks about Mariah. It’s sad that you empower such behavior instead of stand behind not just Mariah, but woman in general. You are just promoting a way that men can treat woman.

And for the record, his desperate attempt to defamer Mairah’s character by playing prerecorded messages that Mariah left for her fans and used on various songs on her albums… ie the laughter is taken from “All my life” on Glitter. The other “messages” are from voice messages left to her fans from her website years ago.
He is clearly obsessed to have held onto them for so long.
I for one am proud of Mariah for standing up against him when no one else has. She is strong, brave and an intelligent business woman.

Well I’m endorsing a side… the side I’ve always been on, Mr Marshall Mathers. I will never say Mariah isn’t talented, because the bitch can sing. But what turned me off her was her need to wear less and less clothing with each CD release. She can’t proceed on her talent alone? She has to push up her big tits and put them in our faces? Trent, I am quite a feminist and I think that Eminem diss is hilarious. Don’t listen to oversensitive people with no sense of humor! This is the old Eminem for sure. And destroying her would not destroy him, this is what he does, this is why he is famous, this is why we still listen to him. It is extremely entertaining. Mariah and Nick are dumb to have said anything, I respect that she felt she needed to stand up for herself, but I have a feeling she does have something to hide and he is not afraid to reveal. Em will always win the diss war.

I know some of you think the diss is funny, and it is, but Eminem doesn’t sound like he is joking. Mariah kept it funny, especially in the video, and I think “Obsessed” probably will be the last comment she makes on the issue because the lyrics pretty much refute whatever he says next…unless the pictures are real. I don’t think he would take it that far though bc it doesn’t serve any purpose for his career, unlike a diss track, which I’ll admit showed off his skills as an MC. Regardless, he got pretty nasty. And whereas she criticized him for popping pills, all he he could do was tell the world what we already know-that Mimi is a lush. Big deal. Actually that has always made me like her more:)
