Cameron Diaz Does ‘V’ Magazine
Cameron Diaz is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of V magazine. In what appears to be an homage to Madonna-meets-Gwen Stefani, Cameron rocks the conical bra (a la Madonna’s Blond Ambition Tour) and Gwen’s now-trademark blonde up do hair’do. Here is Cameron’s V mag cover:
This issue of V magazine has been dubbed The Beauty Issue and Cameron was photographed by fashion photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott in London. For her spread, Cam rocked Prada shorts and boots and, despite the Jean Paul Gaultier-like look of it, the bra was fashioned by the stylist and made from gaffer tape! To be honest, at quick glance … you can hardly tell it’s Cameron Diaz at all. After the jump, check out a few more photos from this pretty cool V photospread …
I like the subtle nod to Madge (the last photo is deffo an homage to Madonna’s True Blue album coverphoto), I think it’s a very cool look stylistically. Props to Cameron for taking the bold risk to pose this way. I really do like the shoot … do you?

Wow, she looks amazing, but very un-like how she usually does. I actually, at first glance, thought it was Gwen Stefani on the cover, I never would have guessed it was Cameron Diaz.

Yeah, at first I thought it was Gwen Stefani but when you see Cameron Diaz you can definitely tell it’s her… cool!

Cameron should definitely go for this look more often. She’s so beautiful and though the “down to earth” style looks good on her I like it when she plays it up and makes it different. Love this! She needs to show her fierceness more often.

The pin-up “tattoo” on her arm looks an awful lot like Diablo Cody’s. But it might more likely be a nod to Miss Amy Winehouse? That’s the first thing I thought, anyhow. A pop-star mash-up photo shoot.
