Cameron Diaz is featured on the cover and in the pages of the new issue of V magazine. In what appears to be an homage to Madonna-meets-Gwen Stefani, Cameron rocks the conical bra (a la Madonna‘s Blond Ambition Tour) and Gwen‘s now-trademark blonde up do hair’do. Here is Cameron‘s V mag cover:

This issue of V magazine has been dubbed The Beauty Issue and Cameron was photographed by fashion photographers Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott in London. For her spread, Cam rocked Prada shorts and boots and, despite the Jean Paul Gaultier-like look of it, the bra was fashioned by the stylist and made from gaffer tape! I like the subtle nod to Madge (the last photo is deffo an homage to Madonna‘s True Blue album coverphoto), I think it’s a very cool look stylistically. Props to Cameron for taking the bold risk to pose this way. I really do like the shoot … do you?
