A new fan-make movie poster for The Twilight Saga: New Moon is making its way around the Internets and altho it doesn’t nearly resemble anything close to the real thing, it’s fun enough for me to share with all y’all. Some industrious fan with a lot of time and some knowledge of Photoshop managed to take Dakota Fanning‘s Gap (RED) Campaign photo and turn it into a “New Moon” poster:
As y’all should know by now, Dakota plays vampire baddie Jane of the Volturi so this poster attempts to promote her part. It’s not a bad fan creation but mebbe if they had used a more obscure photo it would’ve looked more real. In any event, I’m sure there will be more official promotional materials made available to fans in the coming weeks before the film opens in theaters. Until then, we may also see more fan-make creations like this one.

I think the official movie poster should have Bella on a cliff with her arms spread out while it just shows her backside… or something! My grandma saw the official movie poster for now and she was like, “Why does that one girl, um, whatever her name is, Bella, why does she always look like she’s in pain?” haha
Sometimes “fake” movie posters are so much BETTER than any real ones made!

Agree with rossy. This fake movie poster is very well done.
She almost looks like Cristina Ricci in this which is funny because I never thought that when I saw the Project Red version of the shot…..The use of such a “well known” shot of her aside, it wouldn’t make a good movie poster anyway. Jane is not supposed to be a pleasant or friendly looking person.

Not sure why these old fanmade ones are being brought back up on all the media sites as new. All these cool fanmade ones were made back before production even started. I think now people are just noticing how much better the “fake” ones are to the “real” one lol

I thought it was really good as well…I’m not even a “twilight” fan…so i haven’t seen any the fanmade posters. I think the person who did this has some good skill. Plus if she is supposed to be a vampire that picture is a pretty good pick.
OMG, Roxster, ole’ girl really does look like Cristina Ricci! When I first looked at this I couldn’t put my finger on who she reminded me of.

There is actually a LOT of fan made stuff out there and quite a bit of it is really, really fricken good.

Whoever made this should put it in their portfolio – very nice work, with a nice eye for layout and design.

she reminds me of DRUSILLA from buffy in this pic, the angled, crooked smile, as if she knows more than you do, and she may seem sweet, but she’ll eat the shit outta you, works so well with the costume and such
