I think it’s fair that this was also open to fans from outside the US, they are not any less his fans than Americans. I do hope that only people that can actually go and that actually are fans of him registered.

I can understand that MJ has a lot of fans and I’m sure his fans that don’t live in the US would want to go but at the same time he is a US Muscian and it is only right to have his memorial service in the United States… If they had more than one in different countries it would be too much of a hassle and I’m sure it’s tough for everyone not to mention HIS family. Just my opinion, though.

-Sigh.- I know so many true fans who want to attend this and probably won’t get the chance to because of all the people who registered just for the heck of it. I know there must have been a better way to distribute the tickets.

you can’t sell them on ebay because you dont get a ticket physically. So that isn’t going to happen.

I applaud them for not chargine. No matter if it was a dollar or a penny, you can’t charge people to mourn a public figure and want to share that moment with everyone who feels the same as you. Horrible idea to charge.

I honestly just think the idea of making it international was idiotic. That made damn sure that his US fans would be few and far between. Either that or it was a slap in the face to all international people who cannot afford an EVEN MORE expensive plane ticket. I’m surprised they aren’t having a mass memorial at 4 or 5 major arenas around the country. Flock to the one closest to your location. THEN I can see charging, which would then boost local economic status’.

I believe i read that you have to pick your tickets up, i assume it will be in LA. If they are not picked up they will go to someone else. I doubt there will be many emty seats this way.
