Gossip Girl co-stars and real life couple Blake Lively and Penn Badgley took a break from filming season 3 of GG (which just went into production in Manhattan a couple of weeks ago) and were spotted strolling the streets of NYC together last week but, apparently, Blake wasn’t too keen on being seen out and about with her man:

Now, it’s not entirely clear why Blake was suddenly so shy … it’s possible she didn’t want to be seen with Penn or mebbe she just didn’t want to be seen at all. Whether she was hiding a heinous blemish or she didn’t feel pretty enough for photos, it’s fortuitous that she had a large bouquet of flowers on hand to hide her normally happy visage. C’mon Blake … Penn‘s shoes aren’t that bad. I suppose if she doens’t want to be seen with the lad while he wears these shoes she shouldn’t loan them out to him anymore :)

Here are a few photos of lovebirds Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon making their way out of the Hollywood Bowl here in LA last night after attending the Ray LaMontagne/Jenny Lewis concert. From the looks of Reese, it appears that she enjoyed quite a few drinkies at the show last night:

Tho, while it looked like Reese was having a blast, Jakey poo did NOT look like he was having a good time. It’s unclear exactly why he was so pissy but mebbe he wasn’t too keen on the photogs getting snaps of Reese while she was so inebriated. It looks like she had fun, tho … Jakey should lighten up … or mebbe he should have a drink himself.

Britney Spears continues the European leg of her concert tour The Circus starring Britney Spears and she breezed into Copenhagen, Denmark over the weekend for a show at the Parken arena. Here are a couple cute pics of Brit with her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James as they arrived in town Saturday:

It remains to be seen if Britney‘s moochy ex-husband Kevin Federline and his ladyfriend Victoria Prince followed her to the beautiful Danish capital. My guess is, yes he did follow her to Denmark. I bet he figured he’d be able to eat all the Danish pasty he likes … and was, unfortch, very surprised that finding danish in Denmark isn’t like finding french fries in France. Ah well … I’m sure he found something in large portions to eat. Britney and her Circus make their way to Stockholm, Sweden tonight.

David and wifey Victoria Beckham returned home to SoCal late Friday after Becks had been away for more than half a year … but almost as soon as he returned home he got right back out onto the soccer field. Altho Becks was back in action early Saturday morning, he was not playing competitively … he was paling around with a bunch of kids to participate in the joint effort between Adidas, MLS W.O.R.K.S. and Fieldturf to kick off the Footprint Fields Community Program at the Campus El Segundo Athletic Fields in El Segundo, CA. Here are a few pics of Becks in action with some lucky kids:

Seriously … those kids are damn lucky! But, Becks didn’t appear at the Campus El Segundo Athletic Fields to merely play soccer with the kids … he also showed up in order to leave his famed footprints in concrete at the field — and he brought along a good friend. Real Madrid soccer star Zinedine Zidane attended the event on Saturday with our dear Becks and both men left their footprints in concrete on their walk of fame.
