As I mentioned yesterday, Madonna kicked off the latest leg of her Sticky & Sweet Tour at the O2 Arena in London, England last night and she devoted a special segment to the memory of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson. I understand that Maddy changed up the show setlist a tiny bit (not to spoil the surprise for any of y’all who have yet to see this latest leg of the tour but I understand her song Frozen has been added to the setlist) but it is unknown if the added homage to Michael Jackson will be included in future performances of the Sticky & Sweet Tour or if this tribute was a one-time-only sort of thing:

For the most part, the tribute was a tiny portion of the show … a Michael Jackson impersonator came up onto the stage as photos of MJ himself were featured on the big screen and MJ’s music played along. The impersonator danced a few of MJ’s signature moves while Madonna and her dancers stood back, watched and applauded. At the end of the 1 1/2 minute segment, Maddy asks the audience to “give it up” for the late King of Pop and the tribute was over.
