Yesterday afternoon TMZ reported that plans were underway to move Michael Jackson‘s body from LA to his former home at Neverland Ranch in Los Olivos, CA and CNN reported that a public memorial service would be held at Neverland on Friday July 3. Today the Jackson family has issued an official statement denying that any such public or private memorial services will be held at Neverland this weekend and that NO plans are finalized yet for any public memorial service for the late Michael Jackson. Since word broke of the supposed memorial service at Neverland this weekend, fans have flocked to Los Olivos to leave flowers and tributes to MJ at the ranch and countless media outlets have set up on the grounds to cover what was believed to be MJ‘s public memorial service. Here are a few photos from Neverland Ranch yesterday and today, including a letter sent to residents of Santa Barbara, CA warning of the influx of mourners to the area in addition to the full text of the just released official statement on memorial plans from the Jackson family:

“Contrary to previous news reports, the Jackson family is officially stating that there will be no public or private viewing at Neverland. Plans are underway regarding a public memorial for Michael Jackson, and we will announce those plans shortly.”

I’m hearing that the Jackson family is working on a plan for a public memorial service for Michael Jackson but that it will take place here in Los Angeles, CA. MJ will absolutely NOT be buried at Neverland Ranch and will most likely be interred here in the LA area at the Forest Lawn Memorial-Park and Mortuaries in the Hollywood Hills. I will update with more info as it becomes available but it looks like any plans to head up to Los Olivos for Michael Jackson‘s public memorial service are now unnecessary.

Aussie hottie Ryan Kwanten, who stars on the hugely popular HBO series True Blood, was spotted at Corleone Pizza restaurant in downtown Los Angeles, CA yesterday all dolled up for a photoshoot for GQ magazine … behold:

Except for the fact that the horrid sweater he’s wearing is fug as hell, Ryan looks pretty good. Oh, who the hell am I kidding … Ryan Kwanten looks best when he’s wearing nothing at all … the producers of True Blood (who insist that he has to be at least shirtless [if not more] on every single ep of the show) know it, you know it and I know it. If GQ is hoping for their shoot with Kwanten to be a big hit with fans … they need to lose the sweater … and more … just a suggestion ;)

Yeah, I dunno what is going on with that hair but … I guess we were all Sophomores once. I’m sure I’d be horrified if my Sophomore photo made its way to the Internets but, then again, I’m not starring in a multi-million dollar movie franchise so I have no need to worry … I hope. In all honesty, this photo is more cute than embarrassing, I think. It should also be noted that Taylor won the title of Best Smile during his tenure at Valencia High … notice how he didn’t win Best Hair ;)

Playa Player Bradley Cooper, who just recently went on a date with Jennifer Aniston, hooked up with actress Renée Zellweger in NYC this week for another date. Now, of course this could merely just be an innocent meeting of two celebs who admire one another’s careers … or whatever … OR it could be the start of something beautiful. The couple took great care to exit the restaurant where their date took place very separately … I wonder what they are hiding:

That Bradley Cooper certainly gets around. Last weekend he was in Paris, where he fended off rumors about a possible relationship with Jennifer Aniston after they were seen together in New York. Then, Tuesday night on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, the Hangover star, 34, was seen with Renée Zellweger, 40, at the Italian restaurant Antonucci. “She didn’t really eat much, but he ate,” someone in the restaurant told PEOPLE, adding that the two looked like they were on a date. “They were very flirty. Either he’s being very gentlemanly, ’cause that’s the way he is, or they’re dating. He paid. He pulled out her chair, that kind of stuff.” As for their time together, “She had a coughing fit at one point and got up and left, but then came right back,” said the source. Zellweger’s rep has no comment. But a source close to the Cold Mountain Oscar winner says, “They did [Case 39] together and they stayed friends. That’s it.” And, a source close to Aniston tells PEOPLE, “She and Bradley are still talking.”

HMMM … it might be too soon to dub this couple Bradlée as I’m pretty sure that Cooper is just playing the field with these ladies. He is Hollywood’s hottest new bachelor and he is working his way up the A-List. I don’t expect anything to come from just this one date … so we’ll have to see if they end up hooking-up again. To be honest, I’m betting homie will merely move on to another A-List actress. Any guesses who he might be seen with next?

Michael Ausiello of Entertainment Weekly is reporting that pop star (and sometimes actress) Hilary Duff will join the cast of Gossip Girl for their third season (which just went into production in NYC this week) for a story-arc that will feature her as a “movie star who enrolls at NYU” and is roommates with Vanessa (played by Jessica Szohr):

Is the Upper East Side big enough for Serena, Blair and the Duffster?! We’re about to find out because the onetime tween sensation is joining Gossip Girl for a multi-episode arc, sources confirm to me exclusively. The actress-designer-pop chanteuse will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience. She ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) so it’s safe to say she’ll be majoring in Drama! Duff will debut in this season’s fourth episode, slated to air Oct. 5. Gossip producers spotted an opening in Duff’s schedule after NBC passed on her comedy pilot Barely Legal.

Whoa! Now that’s a scoop. First GG manages to attract Michelle Trachtenberg to join the cast and now Hilary Duff … not too shabby. I hadn’t heard that NBC passed on Duff‘s Barely Legal TV series so that’s news to me as well. I really think that Hil D. will fit in perfectly with the Gossip gang. I’m sure it won’t be long until we see her on set in NYC filming her first scenes for the series. What do y’all think … is this news about Hilary joining the GG cast good news or bad?

No big news on the personal front to report. David and I went out for sushi dinner together at Fat Fish on Robertson Blvd. in West Hollywood, CA and then we grabbed some coffee drinks at Java Detour afterward. We did hang out for a bit, just talking, before we came back home to chillax. I spent much of my night reading The Strain (which I am SO loving) and that was pretty much that.

This afternoon, I have a couple of errands to run but it looks like it’s gonna be another quite night … which is absolutely fine with me :)

The last will of Michael Jackson, the legal declaration by which a person, the testator, names one or more persons to manage his or her estate and provides for the transfer of his or her property at death, has been made available to the public after it was officially filed in court today in order for MJ‘s last wishes for his estate to be carried out. For the most part, the will offers no real surprises but a couple of interesting caveats. The will states that MJ‘s mother Katherine should gain guardianship of his three children but in the case of her death or inability to care for the children, it was MJ‘s wish that Diana Ross be nominated to care for the children instead. Also, the will makes plainly clear that NO PROVISIONS AT ALL are to be made for MJ‘s ex-wife Debbie Rowe. It seems very odd to me that he would decide to make no provisions for the mother of his two eldest children. Here is the first page of MJ‘s will along with some other deets from the document:

Michael Jackson’s will has been filed with the court. Jackson asks that his mother, Katherine, be made the guardian of all three of his kids. The will says if Katherine died before him or couldn’t serve as guardian, he nominated Diana Ross. And there’s a petition filed along with the will, saying Jackson’s estate is worth more than $500,000,000. The petition says almost all of the estate “consists of non-cash, non-liquid assets, including primarily an interest in a catalog of music royalty rights which is currently being administered by Sony/ATV, and interests in various entities.” As we first reported, the will leaves everything to the Michael Jackson Family Trust, stating, “I give my entire estate to the Trustee or Trustees…” The will declares that Jackson is not married. The will names John Branca, John McClain and Barry Siegel as co-Executors. Branca was Jackson’s lawyer, McClain is a music exec and Siegel was Jackson’s accountant. But Siegel resigned from his role as executor in 2003. Branca and McClain just released the following statement: “The most important element of Michael’s will is his unwavering desire that his mother, Katherine, become the legal guardian for his three children.”

It was widely reported before his death that Michael Jackson “promised” to relinquish control of the publishing rights to the Beatles music catalog (which he acquired in the 80s after he outbid Paul McCartney and Yoko Ono for those rights at auction when they went up for sale) upon his death … as yet, no such provision has been found anywhere in MJ‘s will. My guess is that the relinquishment of those publishing rights to their rightful owners (ie. the Beatles) will never happen. If you are at all interested in reading all 5-pages of MJ‘s last will you can download a copy HERE and check it out for yourself. Honestly, there’s nothing really of surprising note in the doc. As mentioned above, it seems that the overriding concern in the document is the care of his three children.

It must’ve been hot as Hell in Miami, FL yesterday cuz the heat took a-hold of Beyoncé so fiercely that she had to run her ass into the beach to cool down … and the poor girl didn’t even bother to take off any of her clothing before doing so:

I mean, it’s not like I expect the pop star to go dippin’ in the ocean all nekkid or anything but homegirl couldn’t even be bothered to change into a bathing suit before diving in. Just how hot was it in Miami yesterday? Damn.

Granted, I have no idea what the premise of the film is (other than, obvs, MT is getting married) but I understand that she co-stars with Bruce Willis (who I genuinely cannot stand). As much as I love me some Michelle T., I fear the Bruce Willisness of her new film will keep me from going out to see it when it opens in theaters. I must say, tho, that MT makes a very pretty bride … don’t you think?
