Zack Morris Does ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon’
Mark-Paul Gosselaar paid a little visit to the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show last night in his Saved By The Bell character Zack Morris. Gosselaar was really on the show to promote the new season of his TNT drama Raising the Bar but spent most of his appearance playing up the notion of a Saved By The Bell reunion. It’s pretty funny to see MPG in character as Zack Morris again … he doesn’t really look like he’s aged much at all:
As he’s established himself as a grown-up actor with roles on “NYPD Blue,” “Commander in Chief” and now “Raising the Bar,” Mark-Paul Gosselaar has (understandably) distanced himself from his first big role on “Saved by the Bell.” Consider the distance achieved. Gosselaar was a guest on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” Monday — and did the whole appearance in character as Zack Morris, his “Saved by the Bell” alter ego. Or is it that he’s been “Zack Morris” all along, and just had to change his name to “Mark-Paul Gosselaar” when he got his SAG card because there was already someone with his name in the union? Fallon has made it his mission to host a “Saved by the Bell” reunion on “Late Night,” and it looks like things are lining up. I only hope that Zack and Kelly can put aside any lingering hard feelings over their breakup.
Hahahahaha … so awesome! I’m pretty sure it won’t be too difficult to get the other Saved By The Bellers on board for a proper reunion … if anything, Mark-Paul er, I mean Zack Morris’s appearance shows that there is still a huge amount of love for Saved By The Bell. first, and that skit was hilarious. he really hasn’t aged at all. here’s to hoping for all of them to come back, except dustin diamond. he’s too far gone to play skreech again. I wouldn’t even pay to see him on fallon on basic cable.

Yeah, he looks a bit skinnier in the face but still the same! I remember watching Saved By the Bell with my sister every time I got home from school. I was like four or something.

I was JUST watching this on Jimmy Fallon..during the day haha. SO SO funny…I loved how he didnt break character at all. I love him and Saved by the Bell even more now!

oh my gosh, i watched this at work and it totally made my day. I didn’t know jimmy fallon had his heart set on a saved by the bell reunion but that’s AWESOME! I love jimmy fallon already, this just makes me love him more! Can’t wait for saved by the bell reunion! they should make a movie…. in the form of a reality tv mini series? like jon and kate but in character.

Yeah, my guess is Dustin Diamond won’t show up. He seems to hold a lot of bitter resentment over Saved by the Bell. And yes Kelly and Zach got married.

I watched this earlier today, hilarious. Loved the part where he was like “I grew up in Indiana and moved with my two friends and principal.” I really hope there is a Saved By The Bell Reunion, I loved the show and still watch it in reruns.

KK, the writer knew what they were doing. The “Zack & Kelly getting along after their break-up” was what he meant. In the clip Zack states that he and Kelly divorced over Jeff, and now he is always hanging out with Johnny Dakota. He even called her his “ex-wife”.
So according to the write here, Zack & Kelly are no longer married.

LOVE IT !!! I am watching Saved by the bell right now as it is on the Super Station WTBS every morning from 7 to 9 am EST M-F. I also have watched Raised by the bar from it’s start last year & is now my favorite drama. Jane K. is also great, used to be the mom in Malcom in the middle. I would love a “SBTB” reunion, and yes Ms. Bliss must be there as that was going to be the shows name until a last minute change. I also hope that his two best friends from year one, “Mikey” & the girl, (sorry can’t think of her name) need to be there, and no matter what has happened…Dustin Diamond HAS TO BE THERE !!! Forget everything & just remember him as Screech, Zack’s best bud !!! Saved by the bell !!!!!! FOREVER !!!

It’s more than obvious Pink’s writer had to Google saved by the bell, because Miss Bliss was for the first couple of seasons when the show was on Disney and bit ass. It wasn’t really saved by the Bell until it had the cast we all know and love: Kelly Kowposki, AC Slater, Screech Powers, Lisa Turtle, and Jesse Spanno (and Belding)…plus that chick that showed up with the leather jacket and was a secret lesbian and the one from the beach who ended up on King of Queens and in Scientology. Here’s hoping to a reunion of one of the coolest kid shows there was.

well technically Miss Bliss wasn’t Saved By The Bell…it was “Good Morning Miss Bliss” They just changed it during reruns to Saved By The Bell. I could so do without her. Just bring back Belding and the core 6 and of course all the nerds! hehe
