‘Voltaïc’ Eruption In LA
The TV Guide

Last night I was able to attend the LA screening of Björk‘s new concert film Voltaïc: The Volta Tour which will be included in her new boxset Voltaïc which was released this Tuesday. The screening was held at the Montleban Theater at Sunset and Vine:

I was very surprised to see so many people came out for the screening … tho, I guess I shouldn’t've been … Björk is much beloved. Seeing the concert DVD on the big screen totally made me feel like I was at the concert. It was really a very cool event. I am absolutely picking up a copy of this amazing box set as soon as I can.

After the screening, Ollie, Caleb and I grabbed a late night snack at kitchen 24:

I love these two so much … they are truly a couple of my fave people ever. We had so much fun.

Tonight, David and I are going out to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Despite all the bad reviews, I’m willing to keep an open mind. It doesn’t have to be fantastic but I just don’t want it to suck.

How long was the Bjork film? We are going to try to make the showing in New Orleans.

t: The screening is an hour and 45 minutes.
And I LOVED the setlist! I’m surprised how few Volta songs she performed (3 or 4 I think). She did mostly Medulla and Homogenic, which is fine with me since I’m not a huge Volta fan.
