Tori Spelling was spotted enjoying a day at the beach with her family yesterday and was lookin’ very much like the character she played on the 90′s TV series Saved By the Bell all those years ago. As you may recall, Tori played the dorky character Violet Anne Bickerstaff for a few eps when SBtB was in it’s hey day (while she was starring on Beverly Hills, 90210) and this week was lookin’ very much like her old self:
LMAO!! I hafta say … I really did love it when Tori would guest star on Saved By the Bell. I always thought it was really cool of her to gues on the show when she was enjoying so much success on BH, 90210. As soon as I saw the photos from the beach this week I knew she looked familiar. It’s a good look for her, don’tcha think?

God, I loved SBTB. But let’s not forget Tori was “cast” as Violet before the success of 90210. Just another job Daddy got for her before 90210 was cast.
There were actually several people who guested on SBTB before they got famous. Pete Sampras’s wife Bridgette was on SBTB as Ginger the Bimbo…before she was cast in Billy Madison and years before she met Pete. Leah Remini was Stacy Carosi, the beach club owner’s daughter, and Scott Wolf was in the glee club and a waiter at the Max before he got Party of Five.
Yeah, I’m a SBTB geek!
Don’t forget Patrick Muldoon as the shmoosy college guy who broke up Kelly and Zack when he was her boss at the Max.
Okay, he’s not so much of a star now — more of a fixture on Lifetime movies — but in the 90s he was pretty popular: Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place, and Starship Troopers.
I loved her snort-laugh. Anyone remember that? Thanks for this “blast from the past” memory Trent!
I was going to say the same thing, she was on SBTB before 90210 was ever on the air, and she was a lot younger. Taling about people who were on SBTB, being a “Mom”, Stacy’s Dad voice Pumba for Lion King.

@sukanya: NO- you are NOT the only one who finds her to be ridiculously unattractive….. Poor girl can’t even help it.. She looks SLIGHTLY better with the glasses covering most of her face.
I guess I can at least be happy that she isn’t on a cover for the “Most Beautiful Whatever” because she got her whole face re-done with plastic surgery…. It’s even worse when someone gets unfair advancements as “Most Beautiful” because they had surgery… when they wouldn’t have gotten that fame without their surgery.. I always wonder if Angelina would still be one of “the most beautiful” if she still had her original nose……
I’ve always had a soft spot for Tori – I think she’s cute … Tori was your typical brown haired Jewish girl with a character nose … you can’t help the way you’re born … People who attack her appearance make me YAWN. Heard it all before … and so has she. Move on.
