@majorguys — it’s unfortunate that you had a bad experience but, to be honest, most parades with lots of people are like that. it’s not a matter of the “gay community” being offensive, it’s groups of humans who tend to be offensive.

I went to the parade and being a gay man, I was disgusted and appalled by the behavior of the gay community. The streets were littered with garbage, people pushing and shoving, and many gay men passed out on the sidewalk and vomiting and hopefully not, overdosing! As I was smacked on the ass by a young dyke and her saying..” I dare you, go ahead and hit me”..I turned around and went home. What a horrible representation of the gay community this day was!!

My 13 year old son is visiting my sister in Chicago right now and they stopped by the parade on Sunday..He said it was so much fun! VERY gay and very fun.. :)
