I still don’t understand movies that open on Christmas Day… I know some movies have been successful on Christmas Day but it just seems sort of, I don’t know… silly?

My friend has a family tradition of seeing a movie on Christmas day..They open gifts and do all of that in the morning, then the siblings go and see a movie while their parents cook..Then they come home and eat!
I went to the movies for the first time on Christmas last year, and it was PACKED. Apparently, a lot of people go to the movies on Christmas.
i worked last year on xmas day at the indie theater i work at… and let me tell you… not a lot of things are open on xmas day so we had tons of sold out shows… around the time people would be done w/ xmas morning and whatnot.
theaters are really the only few places that are open on xmas so it makes sense to have a movie open… not many options of things to do that day.
i love seeing a movie on christmas day.. been a tradition in my house for as long as i can remember! and this movie looks soo good.. i cant wait! and def all about the Judestache!
I don’t know. The posters remind me of the artwork for “The Avengers” – that most horrible atrocity of a film and probably the most deserving of the title ‘worst movie ever’…
I saw the trailer and it left me unimpressed. I think they are trying too hard to make this character edgy and modern, when they shouldnt have to b/c Sherlock Holmes is inherently badass.
They both look hot, but isnt it weird that jude looks older than robert xD

About watching movies on christmas…My boyfriend used to work in a video rental store, and christmas was the busiest day with the highest sales of the year.
I’m excited for this movie, can’t wait to see it! Love me some RDJ.
