Last Tuesday we learned that Sarah Jessica Parker and her hubby Matthew Broderick welcomed the birth of their newborn twin daughters Marion Loretta and Tabitha Hodge who were born to them via surrogate mother on June 23. Today we get our first look at the beautiful twin girls in a new photo released to the media by the family. SJP holds Marion, Matthew holds Tabitha and their older son James Wilkie is sandwiched in between:

Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick are playing show and tell. On Monday, the couple, who greeted twin daughters Marion and Tabitha June 23, released a picture of the beautiful new additions to their family. The girls, born via a surrogate, were joined by their older brother, James Wilkie, 6 ½.
Aren’t they just the cutest family? They all look really happy … and the babies look so precious. After the jump, get a closer look at the newest additions to the Parker-Broderick family …

Congrats and love, again, goes out to the happily expanded family :)

Based on the first pic, does this mean that James FINALLY got a haircut?! We can see his face! Yay!
@Chelle — LOL! I thought the same thing … the kid finally got a haircut. He looks cute :)
Such an adorable picture. Congrats to the happy family :).
@Chelle-Here’s hoping Kate Hudson’s kid, Ryder, gets one soon.
The girls are precious. Congrats to SJP& MB!!
Aww…cute. Congrats to them!
Ok but seriously those are the fugliest names for little girls I have ever heard. Who the HELL looks at their baby girl and thinks “hmm you are definitely a marion loretta” wtf.
@Tracy They aren’t my favorite names either but old lady names are coming back…I know a Hazel and an Evelyn. Besides, I’ve heard a lot of names that initially I hated but once you see how cute the kid is and how the name just fits there little personality it starts to grow on you! Congrats to SJP and Matthew!
So cute. Congrats to them.
bless those sweet little peanuts! what a great family picture!
I’m 26, I never thought of my name as an ‘old lady name.’ :( Oh well, I think the babies are cute and I actually like their names!
@Tabitha — I agree, your name is not an ‘old lady name’. I think it’s lovely :)
They look cute! A photo that is frame-worthy. :)
The girls are adorable! I am happy for them, but the names are horrible! Tabitha reminds me of the show Bewitched and Marion is an old woman I new so long ago. What is with these stars and their naming techniques? I do like James, but where in the world did Wilke come from…maybe it is a family name too.
How nice to see these pics after the sadness of the past week eh.
They look identical and I can see a resemblance to James. The names aren’t as fabulous as I thought they might pick, but they could be worse.
@EJJGAL, the Wilke is after a novelist both SJP and MB admire. James is after MB’s father.
James’ haircut is the first thing I noticed when this picture was released.
He’s such a cutie. Keep the short hair kid.
Names may just vary from one country to another .. I’m French, and here, many girls of my age (20) are called Marion. When I heard the baby’s name was Marion, I thought that was really cute. Names like Michelle, Nicole, and many others are old women names in France.. so it’s always weird to hear that American girls in their twenties or thirties are named like this …
