I KNEW IT!!! People magazine and TMZ are finally confirming news that I have suspected (and was all but certain of) for quite some time now … according to sources in the know, Britney Spears IS, IN DEED, dating her agent Jason Trawick. While the couple, Britwick, have yet to be photographed canoodling in any really romantic fashion, I was pretty certain that the couple have been sharing a personal relationship with one another for at least the past 9 months (if not longer). Here is a pic of the happy couple celebrating Britney‘s accomplishments last year (right around the time she guest starred on CBS‘s How I Met Your Mother):
After a tumultuous relationship with paparazzo Adnan Ghalib and a heartbreaking divorce from Kevin Federline, Britney Spears has found somebody new – and her family approves. Confirming Internet rumors, a source tells PEOPLE that Spears, 27, is romantically involved with her agent, Jason Trawick. “They are totally and definitely dating,” the source says. “Her dad loves him. He’s the best thing that happened to her.” In recent months, Trawick has often been photographed with the pop star, including during her May trip to the Bahamas with her sons, Preston, 3, and Jaden, 2. “They’re very sweet together,” the source says, adding that Spears “always had a crush” on Trawick, who is also one of her brother Bryan’s best friends. “He makes Britney really happy, and he’s great with the boys.” Spears’s rep had no comment.
Adds TMZ: Most people hate their agents … but not Britney Spears. It’s official … she’s dating him. William Morris agent Jason Trawick (seen above with Brit last month) is officially Brit’s boyfriend — multiple sources confirm to us. It’s 100% true. We’re told Jason has been visiting Brit on tour — most recently in London over the weekend. Jason has been telling people when the tour is over he’s taking his sweetie on a vacation in a “private location.”
I SOOOOOOOO KNEW IT! Man, this is amazing news … I’ve contended all along that a stand-up guy like Jason Trawick would be perfect for our dear Britney Spears. The woman needs stability and, well, a man with a job (something that was severely lacking in her previous relationships save for Justin Timberlake). I could not be more thrilled at this news. While I called it a long time ago, it’s really heartening to know that Britwick is “officially” in lurve. Congrats!!! Here’s hoping they share a long and very happy life together.

He’s only 37: that’s 10 years older than her, not a big deal! Besides, he seemed sweet and considerate and normal!!! Britney could use some normal in her life :)

@Cinnamon — Sorry, he is not like “the others”. He is responsible for getting her career back on track after her mental breakdown in 07. If anything, she is indebted to him on that regard.
This is the most amazing news – wow has she turned her life around. He is NOT too old for her. I am close to his age and although, unlike him, I am married and have a child, we still get sitters and go out to concerts, bars, restaurants etc – he is surely plenty of fun and at the same time mature & grounded.

Yeah I think she needs an older more mature man to take care of her and to gain the trust of ol daddy Spears, so he’ll finally lay off and let her be. Good move overall – but still concerned about them having a business relationship. Oh well, cute!

britney should date someone who has a career a good job and someone that isnt in her circle, bet any money if britney wasnt under her dads handcuffs she wouldnt date that guy by choice. britneys beautiful and talented she should have to choose whos for her not her father.

@BRITNEY DONT DO IT & the others – age ain’t nothing but a number. & if he makes her happy, he makes her happy & i’m happy for her. i don’t necessarily agree about mixing business & pleasure, but it’s her perogative as to what she wants to do. i do think they look cute together.
A movie will be made about Brit’s life. This agent could be possibly be the leading man that will “save” her. :D

As an representative for a client, Trawick is acting EXTREMELY unprofessionally. He should end his professional relationship with Britney if he wants to continue a personal relationship with her. This whole thing SCREAMS conflict of interest when/if they break up. I don’t like this at all. But, nobody’s opinion matters. Good luck to them.
Additionally, he diminishes his name as an agent by sleeping with his client. Looks like he cannot separate his personal life from his professional.
I agree 100% with Shaun. Either represent her or be in a relationship with her, not both. If he truly cares about Britney he should step down as her agent and just be her man. To continue things the way they are is unprofessional and inappropriate.
How does it diminish his professional reputation? He’s been her agent for years, her friend for years, and is only now starting as anything more. It’s not like she’s his only client and he’s schlupping her, lol.
It’s obvious this relationship grew from their friendship. It’s no different than Celine Dion and her husband, or Kate Winslet and Sam Menzies. Happens all the time in Hollywood. As long as he keeps business separate, why should it matter? And for all we know, if things really get serious, she might decide to get a new William Morris agent. But until then, let them be :)
