Paris Hilton Sends Greetings From Dubai

Paris Hilton, who is currently in the United Arab Emirates in order to appear in a new version of her competitive reality TV series My New BFF in Dubai, continues to send missives to her adoring fans by way of her official Twitter profile. Clearly, from the sound of one of her latest tweets, Hilton is getting a hang of the language:
She tweets: Kaif haalkum shabab means What’s up guys
Previously, Hilton promised to coin a new catchphrase based on the Arabic language and I’m sure many of y’all are waiting on pins and needles to hear it … I know I am!! No word yet on if Paris plans to stay in Dubai permanently but, as always, hope springs eternal.

I don’t know… I think it’s actually kind of cool that she’s trying to show this culture to America in a positive light, trying to learn little bits of the language, etc. Sure, it’s for some stupid shallow TV show… but I think it shows a little political awareness on her part.
Very rarely does Paris look “trashy” IMO … say what you want about her, but she knows how to rock good outfits.
