Paris Hilton Now Hinting At A ‘Possible’ Summer Wedding Here In The US
After recently hinting that she and boyfriend Doug Reinhardt might elope while they were vacationing in France, Paris Hilton is now hinting that the couple may actually get married here in the US this Summer. Speaking to E! on the red carpet at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards, Paris coyly suggested that Pug Dilton might say I Do in the coming months:
Last time we checked in with Paris Hilton’s man-toy, Doug Reinhardt, he told us there was no secret engagement with his beloved Pare-poo. But our well-placed Hilton sources insisted that a summer wedding between P & D was still on—for now. So what did Ms. Hilton herself say when we asked her if wedding bells would be ringing like we hear they are so set to do in August? At the MTV Awards, the thin-but-not-too-thin rich bitch started giggling and looked at Doug, attached to her arm: “You know, we’ll see. If things go the way they are…Let’s just say I’ve never been happier. You never know.” Weird thing here, folks, is we totally believe her. Paris seriously looks happier with this guy than any one of her other fiancés or boyfriends. I mean, come on: With Paris Latsis it was like she was with her brother, and with Benji Madden it was like she was with her…weird cousin. But the real tell-tale sign is that Doug just seems so wrong—that he’s actually totally perfect for her! He’s got money, so it’s not like he’s needs a Hilton allowance. He still gives Paris the upper hand like she needs in relayshs, ya know—since he’s jobless he can be at her beck ‘n’ call and help out with My New BFF, where he’s now following her to Dubai to film there. Plus, both Paris and Doug have been with everyone else in Hollywood. Maybe they have the sluttiness out of their systems? We give our A.T. blessing, even if others are hesitant to. It’s a match made in ho-heaven!
To quote Paris Hilton herself, all of her marriage shizz is “fake and lame”. While she seems to think that the drama showcased on the MTV reality TV show The Hills is “fake and lame”, I think her constant need to try and convince people that she is serious about marrying whatever guy she happens to be with at the time is pretty effing “fake and lame”. As I’ve said all along, I think that Doug is the PERFECT match for her and I would love for them to get married (if only to shield the rest of humanity from either of them) but her constant need to have us believe she’s getting married is really tired. I guess it bothers me that she can treat the practice of marriage as a PR soundbite to get attention (as if she needs any more of that) while scores of other people are working so hard just to have the right to marry in this country. To clarify, I think Pug Dilton should get married … should buy their own deserted island … and should settle down and out of our sight ’til death do they part. But her constant need to do this “we’ll see” bullshizz is the absolute definition of “fake and lame”.

Unfortunately I’m sort of friends with one of those girls who just HAS to get serious with every guy she meets. Not only do these girls have to get very serious very quickly, they tend to change their personalities and beliefs with each new guy. This girl just started dating a new guy. She started calling him her boyfriend after he asked her out for a second time. And she has had her wedding planned out for years, but now she doesn’t believe in legal marriage, and wants them to be common-law married.
She’s known him a month. *sigh*

PS: you KNOW Paris must be so jealous of Nicole! Nicole has real stuff going on – a commited relationship that’s not based on fame-whoredom, a beautiful daughter, a bun in the oven, good friends, great style, and attention for being who she is – a cool mature and hip gal – not someone fake bimbo who tries too hard.
I just think it’s so amazing how Nicole transformed herself and her life from being a Paris sidekick, to her own woman. She’s grown and changed for the better, but Paris keeps stooping to new lows of lame-ness. Well, she’s got a new sidekick – for now, Doug! What a man!
