Filming continues this week on the NYC set of the new film Remember Me which features Twilight star Robert Pattinson and Lost star Emilie de Ravin as the on-screen couple were snapped enjoying a carnival date together on set. Here are a few pics of the Remember Me co-stars on set this week:

Filming on this movie has only been in production for a couple of weeks now and we’ve already seen pics of R. Pattz bloodied and bruised and we’ve seen Rob and Emilie cozying up together by the seaside. Now we see the pair on a cute carnival date … where Rob wins Emilie a big stuffed panda bear! I’m thinkin’ Remember Me is gonna be chock full of things that will make the ladies squeal and fawn over Robert Pattinson in every way possible. Don’t be surprised if we see him paired up with a cute puppy next … just wait and see.

Here is a cute picture of apparent new BFFs Kylie Minogue and Demi Moore as they were snapped hangin’ out together in Paris, France last night. Apparently, Kylie has been showing Demi around town and the ladies have seemingly become fast friends. Whether the new BFFs bonded over a true friendship or just their levels of celebrity is not known but they do make a very cute couple, I think:

In France to launch her advertising campaign as the face of the new Helena Rubenstein fragrance Wanted, [Demi Moore] enlisted Kylie Minogue’s help for some local advice on the city’s restaurants. The two women were spotted in black and gold outfits and killer heels as they dined at the new Coste restaurant in the St Germain district of Paris. They were also joined by Demi’s youngest daughters Scout, 17, and Tallulah Belle, 15. It isn’t known how long they have been friendly, but they appear to have plenty to talk about after dining together twice in three days. On Monday night, Kylie joined Demi, 46, and her daughters at celebrity favourite Le Stresa. The following day, Demi was seen enjoying a private visit to the Louvre gallery. Accompanied by her bodyguards, the actress couldn’t resist the urge to take a photograph of Leonardo Da Vinci’s masterpiece Mona Lisa – even though photos are forbidden. She then posted the unauthorised holiday snap on her Twitter micro-blogging page. She wrote: ‘Ah… the Mona Lisa.’ Addressing husband Ashton Kutcher, who is currently at home in the U.S., she added: ‘This one is for you baby! Direct from the Louvre. Eros waking his love Psyche.’ On her Twitter page, Demi also admitted she wanted to release her own fragrance, adding: ‘Hopefully soon.’ Since splitting from Olivier in February 2007, Kylie has often returned to the capital to spend time with his dog Sheba, who she has described as ‘the love of her life’. She is now happily dating a Spaniard, Andres Velencoso. Demi’s trip to Paris is her second visit to France this year. She accompanied Ashton to the French Riviera in March during the filming of his new move Five Killers.

I can’t say that I blame Demi for wanting to befriend Kylie … she’s an absolute doll and I imagine she is as sweet in person as she seems in persona. While I doubt that these ladies will be joined at the hip from here on out it’s always nice to see new friends in the making. I know I’m hoping to become friends with Kylie when she comes to the US on her first North American tour this Fall … hey, it could happen.

Rihanna, who made an appearance in court on Monday for Chris Brown‘s court date (and sentencing), was spotted in the close company of producer and friend Pharrell Williams in Beverly Hils, CA yesterday … and it looked like the pair were getting along very famously. Could the duo be in talks for a possible musical collaboration in the near future?

While I doubt that anything of a romantic natures is going on between these two (as some suggest), I think it’s much more likely that the friends might be working out a way to collaborate together. Rihanna has taken some much needed time off in the months since she was assaulted by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown back in February … but mebbe she’s feeling the need to get back to work. Personally, I wouldn’t mind if she took even more time off from work but, believe me, I will heartily welcome her return to music when she is good and ready. Seeing her with Pharrell might be the first real sign that she’s serious about getting back in the music scene.

David Beckham, wife Victoria and their three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz surfaced in the French Riviera this week after not being seen for a couple of weeks or so. When last we saw Les Beckhams, Becks was unveiling his massive new Emporio Underwear ad campaign at Selfridge’s department store in London, England … but since then, the entire family has been pretty much out of sight — especially Vicki B. It is being reported that VB underwent breast reduction surgery and used her time out of the public eye to recuperate. For a woman who has spent the past week relaxing in the South of France sunshine, Victoria Beckham looked a little..well, flat today. But then, that was the idea, really. Mrs Beckham has been recovering from the latest round of cosmetic surgery to reduce the size of her breasts. The 35-year-old mother of three showed off a less busty frame in a tight grey top matched with denim cut-off shorts and high-heeled boots. It was a much more subtle look for the woman whose cleavage has had more ups and downs than a bouncy castle. And just to make sure he matched perfectly, husband David chose a rather appropriate flat cap for himself. The couple left the French Rivera on a private jet accompanied by their three sons, Brooklyn, ten, Romeo, six and Cruz, four. Mrs Beckham is said to have had the reduction, believed to be her third bout of breast surgery, last month in the hope of toning down her WAG shape. She saw a Los Angeles surgeon and had a set of implants removed which reduced her bust size from a generous 34DD to a less obtrusive 34B. A source told The Sun last week: “Victoria has wanted her implants taken out for a while. She felt that was part of her old WAG image – the big hair, big boobs and fake tan – and that she has moved on since those days. She had the op three weeks ago and is very pleased with the results. After the operation she came to London for business and then went to France to heal properly in private.” Victoria’s spokeswoman has declined to comment on the surgery.

Oh yes … when spokespeople decline to comment they’re pretty much confirming the news. Had no surgery taken place, the spokesperson (I’m sure) would’ve been happy to deny. I have to say … good for VB. Her bulbous globes have been lookin’ quite ridic in recent years … lettin’ a little air of her balloons (if you will) sounds like a great idea. I’m not sure what is going on with those cut off shorts, tho. She’s been wearing the hell out of those shorts for the past few weeks … mebbe they’re her comfy recovery clothes? In any event, glad to see the Beckhams out and about again … I’ve missed them. No word on where the family is headed to next but I do know that the LA Galaxy is expecting Becks back in LA in order for him to finish out his contract (finally) with them.

After hearing that Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson “broke-up” again before they even got back together again I was pretty certain it would be some time before the ladies were photographed together … but apparently the ladies hooked up again last night as they were snapped together again inside Sam‘s car:

Now … this could just be an innocent get together or it could be the start of a whole new relationship for these two … one can never really be sure. All I know is that these two just can’t get enough of one another and as long as they’ve got smiles on their faces, I’m all for the reunification of L. Ron. Good luck, ladies … with whatever it is that’s goin’ on betwixt you two.

A new report out today claims that Madonna‘s new greatest hits album, her last album for Warner Bros., is scheduled for release in September … going head to head to head with new releases from Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. According to Examiner.com, the disc will be titled Iconography and may be released on September 22 BUT … they got the title wrong … it is actually titled Celebration and will be released September 28:

This column has been told that Madonna is getting ready to release her greatest hits album, Iconography, in September – possibly September 22. It will be her final album with Warner Brothers and it will contain three new songs. The timing of the album’s release may be bad. Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey are going to be releasing albums around the same time. Whitney Houston’s Undefeated is due on September 1, one week after Mariah Carey’s Memoirs of An Imperfect Angel. Then again, having three divas release albums at the same time may be good for the record industry and the economy. But if Madonna and Whitney Houston go the Mariah route and release new material that is as uncreative and boring as Mariah’s new single Obsessed, the record industry may suffer even more.

While I question the need for another Madonna Greatest Hits album, I am interested in hearing what her three new songs sound like. I understand the song titles for the new tracks are Broken, I’m Sorry and Celebration. Despite the fact that I’m intrigued by these new songs, I’m even more interested in the release of her new album — the first for her new record label with Live Nation. Here’s hoping that these three new tracks will give us a good taste for the direction that her music is heading … which can be very good or very, very bad news.

Earlier today news broke that Jennifer Lopez has decided to put her clothing line Sweetface on hiatus but it seems like she is still moving forward with the release of new fragrances. Here is the new promo ad for Jenny from the Block‘s very long line of fragrances, this one called My Glow:

‘My Glow’ is the latest addition to the success that’s called the Glow collection. The original Glow by Jennifer Lopez scent launched in 2003 as her debut perfume and until now has had it’s biggest success out of all of her fragrances. The Glow collection started with Glow and was followed by Miami Glow, Love at First Glow, Glow After Dark, Glow Shimmer and Sunkissed Glow. The fragrance was developed while Jennifer was pregnant with her twins and inspires the relationship a mother has with her child. “Every baby is an angel,” said Jennifer Lopez. Which clearly transpires to the capsule of the flacon which has an angel on it. The bottle is the first out of the Glow collection that has a different shape than usual, the flacon also has a more classic look. The ad campaign was shot in September last year by legendary photographer Carter Smith, who also shot her last editorial for ELLE magazine … ‘My Glow’ will be available in October 2009 at department stores across the country. No word yet if Coty Inc. has plans to also release the fragrance internationally.

My guess is that it costs much less to produce an unending line of smells than it is to produce yearly collections of fug clothing. For those of you interested in smelling like Jennifer Lopez might want to know that My Glow features the top note smells: lavender flower, water lily, freesia — the mid note smells: white rose, wet leaves, peony, Casablanca lily — the base note smells: skin musk, milky sandalwood, precious woods and heliotrope. No smell of desperation just yet, which means that there may be more releases from the Glow fragrance line in the coming months.

Yesterday we saw photos of Kristen Stewart in full costume and make-up as Joan Jett on the SoCal set of the new movie The Runaways which just went into production. Today we get to see pics of Stewart‘s co-star Dakota Fanning in full costume and make-up as Runaways bandmember Cherie Currie on set (along with a couple newer photos of K. Stew as Joan Jett in a different costume) … behold:

Ah yes … I remember all the heavy and IMHO bad make-up that the ladies used to wear in the early 80′s. The look lingered for much of the decade and the young ladies who rocked this look in high school were referred to as burn outs. All I know is that there had better be at least one feather roach clip featured in the flick. To be honest, the look is all nostalgic and fabulous these days … I really am dying to see how this movie will turn out. Previously we saw these young actresses hanging with their real-live counterparts and now we’re seeing them in action. I realize filming *just* started but I really want to see more.

Last night I was able to attend the LA screening of Björk‘s new concert film Voltaïc: The Volta Tour which will be included in her new boxset Voltaïc which was released this Tuesday. The screening was held at the Montleban Theater at Sunset and Vine:

I was very surprised to see so many people came out for the screening … tho, I guess I shouldn’t've been … Björk is much beloved. Seeing the concert DVD on the big screen totally made me feel like I was at the concert. It was really a very cool event. I am absolutely picking up a copy of this amazing box set as soon as I can.

After the screening, Ollie, Caleb and I grabbed a late night snack at kitchen 24:

I love these two so much … they are truly a couple of my fave people ever. We had so much fun.

Tonight, David and I are going out to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Despite all the bad reviews, I’m willing to keep an open mind. It doesn’t have to be fantastic but I just don’t want it to suck.
