Miley Cyrus Admits That She Has ‘Reconnected’ With Nick Jonas
In a new interview with radio station 107.5 The River, Miley Cyrus admitted yesterday that she has “reconnected” with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas in the wake of her break-up with 20-year old manfriend Justin Gaston (you may recall that Miley and Justin broke up earlier this week). It should go without saying that Miley has reconnected with Nick especially since we saw photos of the pair jetskiing together in Savannah, GA just a couple of days ago (she’s there filming a new movie called The Last Song, he flew in for a 2 day rendezvous to reconnect, apparently). Here is a portion of Miley’s interview about her new relationship with Nick:
“He’s my best friend, and we still hang out all the time,” she said Friday on 107.5 The River’s Woody and Jim morning show in Nashville. “We’ve definitely reconnected. We don’t know what’s going to happen in the future, but right now we’re just kind of kicking it and hanging out as much as we can.” Cyrus split with Jonas at the end of 2007. She told Seventeen last year that she “bawled for a month straight” and dyed her hair black after calling it quits. The two — who sing a duet on the Jonas Brothers’ new song, “Before The Storm — have since patched things up. “We both just kind of saw each other and kind of decided this whole thing is kind of stupid,” Cyrus said. “We were all over the separation.” “I’m really happy to be back in their lives,” she went on. “And our families are super happy we’re hanging out again.” Jonas even took a trip to Georgia to visit Cyrus, who is now shooting the drama The Last Song. On Wednesday, they went jet-skiing near Tybee Island. “No comment,” she said when asked about the outing, though she did admit, “I am a jet ski demon!”
Oh yeah … and about that nose piercing that Miley has been showing off lately, well she’s got a thing or two to say about that as well:
“I’ll let people think what they will,” she said. “I hope no one is upset at me for doing it. I think it’s lame for it to be such a big deal because … it’s just temporary. You can take it out.” What prompted the piercing? “I am a huge Kelly Clarkson fan,” she said. “And I loved when she had her nose pierced.”
Oh Miley … you’re just being Miley. I have to say that I think it’s very sweet that she has reconnected with her more age appropriate ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas. They just seem more suited for one another … mebbe they’ll make it work this time. As for poor Justin Gaston? Well … he’s been left home alone here in SoCal where he has been bizzying himself with posting You Tube videos here he proudly opines for “a very special someone”:
Awww … poor guy. But even still … you can’t live in the past. I’m sure you’ll find the right person for you, Justin … whoever that person may be.

okay good I’m glad to see I’m not the only one whose like “wait, he has an accent?!?!” lol. Trent you’re right in saying its more age appropriate for her to be with Nick, but the way things played out is still a bit sketchy. It sounds like after all her “i still hate you” comments about Nick, she still had feelings for him and working together made her realize that…and that she had to dump Justin. And now shes back talking to the media about it. She attracts drama.

She is a 16 year old girl. I totally don’t care if she is ating someone who is 20. And I totally don’t care if she breaks up with him for someone she “dated” when she was 14. She is 16… She is old enough to make her own decisions and live with the consequences, but at the same time, let’s all assume that she is an idiot, because when dealing with 16 year old girls, that is a safe assumption. Plus, we’ve all seen her interviewed, so we know this is about 10 years younger than Dan Radcliffe and Emma Watson were when they were 16.

For some reason, I find Nick and Miley to be kinda adorable. Granted, they’re nowhere near as superstarlike just yet, but I think they’re their generation’s Britney and Justin. Hopefully, things go better for them though :-p.

hmm after reading his twitter and hers, justin and miley are not feuding and it looks like its been coming to that like they drew apart and are just buddies now. See the twitters from the last few days they are completely over. He’s creepy to me and his twitters says hes buddies with her older sister and hes buddies with her dad.

You know, I recall an interview with Miley where she said she could see her and Nick getting back together at one point, so I pretty much assumed that meant they would.
Also I think the nose piercing is very small and tasteful, so I doubt people will care much. it’s not like she got a huge tattoo of a unicorn or something.
