On Wednesday we learned that embattled Miss California USA Carrie Prejean had been stripped of her crown by Miss USA owner Donald Trump due to her inability to fulfill the duties required of a reigning Miss California USA. As a result, the 1st runner-up was elevated to the position of the new reigning Miss California USA … and one of her first duties was to make a public appearance (with new sash and all) at the Gridlock Denim party at Kitson on Robertson Blvd. here in West Hollywood. Meet the new Miss California USA Tami Farrell:

It’s very fortunate that contingency plans are put in place in order to replace Miss California USAs as quickly as possible if ever the need arises … after all, can you imagine if the Gridlock Denim party had to go on without the presence of a reigning Miss California USA? I mean … Whew! We dodged a bullet there. No offense to Tami Farrell, who I’m sure will be an amazing Miss California USA … but now that Carrie Prejean has been stripped of her crown and has less reason to be talked about in the media (not that that fact is gonna stop her from trying, I’m sure) I sincerely doubt we’ll be hearing more about anything concerning Miss California USA from here on out.
