Lindsay Lohan was spotted trying to gain access into ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson‘s home over the weekend (I understand she was successful but only after 20 minutes of pounding on the front door) and in the process showed off a new bit of ink on her left forearm. It was reported previously that Lindsay got a new tattoo but it has remained underwraps … until now. Here is a close-up photo of Lindsay‘s new tat that appears to read, Stars, all we ask for is our right to twinkle:
Lindsay Lohan unveiled her newest piece of body art as she slid out of a car this morning – a tattoo on her left wrist. The troubled former child star showed off the inscription as she arrived at on-off lover Samantha Ronson’s Los Angeles house in the early hours. It was impossible to decipher what the tattoo said, although a source recently revealed Lindsay had had a Marilyn Monroe quote inked on her wrist. The wording: “Everyone’s a star and deserves the right to twinkle,” was said to be surrounded by yellow, blue and green stars. Since then the tattoo has remained hidden, but this morning Lindsay seemed not to care as she flashed it at photographers. The tattoo joins Lindsay’s five others – the word Shhh…. on the side of her index finger, a small star on her wrist which matches one of Ronson’s, a heart on her hand, the word breathe on her wrist, and the phrase La Bella Vita on her lower back.
Despite that this article claims it is “impossible” to decipher the text of Lindsay‘s new tattoo, I think it’s plainly clear what it says. Clearly, all Lindsay is asking for his her “right to twinkle” being the star that she is … shouldn’t we let her do so? Is that too much to ask?
Omg lol I’m sorry Trent but I think most of us knew what her tattoo said for a while now or at least everyone on ONTD did you how Lilo stans are.
How sad… her career is over and her ego and bad attitude caused it. Why are we still paying attention to this idiot? oh, and that is the DUMBEST tatoo on earth. why would you put those words on your body permanantly? Did anyone hear about the girl that fell asleep while they tatooed stars ALL OVER her face? Ummm…. don’t fall asleep when you are getting a tatoo.
I still love Lindsay – I think she is an excellent actress and I can’t help but to feel sorry for her for some odd reason. I’m aware of everything she’s been through and done – I still just feel sorry for her and wish she could just get back on track.

Did anyone see those pixs and video of her banging on sam’s door for 20 mins begging to be let in? Jesus chhrist they were pathetic, how little self respect she must have to want to be with someone who left her waiting on their door step for 20 mins while the paps take pixs of it.
I just watched that video of her banging on the door…. it made me cringe. That is rough. You know, the paps are the lowest life forms around. It’s not about taking pictures anymore, it’s about taunting the celebs to get a reaction out of them so they can film it. That is bullshit.

@Anne – It’s a real story. The story is sketchy – her father was supposedly in the waiting room and she supposedly fell asleep and now they’re suing the tattoo artist. Apparently the stars were supposed to be only near her eyes like Kat Von D’s. Supposedly, according to the tattoo artist, the girl was piss drunk. It’s a sketchy story.

hells bells! when i was her age i got a tattoo or two that i now question why i felt like that was a good idea. the kid is a nutter, but what can you do? her parents are nutters and she grew up in a nutty environment…..

That is an incredibly dumb tattoo for anybody, (it’s like tattooing a bad bumper sticker saying on you). It’s worse for someone like Lindsey who is obviously nothing more than a falling star.
Her mother is too busy ruining Ali to be any help to Lindsey. It’s just sad, and I’ve stopped watching.
Lindsay is 22, not a teenager … she can do whatever she feels … If her career was really over, she would not be talked about DAILY – as she is. The world is interested.
