Kylie Minogue continued her mini-tour of Europe this week, after putting on performances recently in Morocco and in France for the Cannes Film Festival, as she put on a small concert in Poland at the Gdansk Shipyard (site of the protests which led to the fall of Communist power) in celebration of the 20th anniversary of democracy in Poland. Homegirl busted out her best blinged out Phantom of the Opera-esque mask for the occasion … behold:

ONLY KYLIE MINOGUE could wear a Phantom Of The Opera style mask and still look sexy. Maybe the burlesque gloves and sexy stockings helped matters. But making her first ever appearance in Poland, the Australian pop legend sparkled as she took to the stage in Gdansk to celebrate twenty years since the end of the communist rule. The 100,000 fans lapped up an hour-long set – organized by the European Solidarity Centre – which included hit favourites such as Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and Spinning Around.

I love that Kylie wanted to be part of such an important celebration for the Polish people. She truly is an ambassador for the world and is welcomed with open arms wherever she goes … and I am THRILLED that she is finally bringing her magic to the US later this Fall for her first ever North American Tour!! Seeing these photos from these mini-shows thruout Europe are really, really getting me amped up to see her tour the States later on this year. I love me some Kylie.
