Yesterday we saw photos of Twilight star Kristen Stewart trying to keep her newly dyed hair underwraps as she made her way out of a studio here in SoCal this week. As you may or may not know, Kristen will portray Joan Jett in a biopic called The Runways based on the 70′s all-girl band of the same name. Clearly, Kristen has gotten over her need to hide her new ‘do cuz here are a few new photos of her proudly showing off her Joan Jett mullet:
Some people think that she is wearing a wig but I have since discovered that Kristen has wrapped her scenes for The Twilight Saga: New Moon (due out in theaters this November) and is fully involved in production of The Runaways. It really looks to me that she cut and colored her hair to get that Joan Jett look. I’m still not 100% convinced that she can adequately channel the intensity of Joan Jett but she’s deffo got the look down. I guess we’ll have to wait and see if K. Stew can hack it as a real-life punk rock goddess.

I mean….its not a good look on her, she looks completely washed out, but she is supposed to look like joan jett and joan has that hair. I’m curious if she can pull it off as well.

I know that it is for a role so I cant say too much but… its really bad on her. It makes her look like a drug addict especially with the sunken red eyes… hmm… I love Joan Jett so she better pull it off!

Is it just me, or does she have permanent “morning face?” You know… how your face is a little puffy and your lips a little dry when you just wake up? That is what she ALWAYS looks like…

she’s hot even with that nasty mullet (“business in the front, party in the back”). i adore her and hope she rocks that role!

actually it isn’t actually a true “mullet”. it’s more of a shag coif.
It probably looks better when she has it styled, this looks like she just jumped out of the shower and went… She would probably look a million times better with a tan… maybe some sleep… maybe if she smiled a little.

So, I just realized this(as I was watching Disney last night XD) but, she is in the movie ‘catch that kid’ and her acting is pretty good in it XD
she was Jodie Foster’s daughter in Panic Room.
