Kevin Federline Has Landed In London, England
Just as I suspected, Kevin Federline and his ladyfriend Victoria Prince managed to secure themselves a FREE RIDE to London, England paid for in full by his ex-wife Britney Spears just so that she would be allowed to bring her children with her on tour. TMZ is reporting that K-Fed Well-Fed is getting paid upwards of $30,000 on top of his monthly payment of $20,000 that he receives from her in child support just so that he can babysit his kids in the UK rather than sittin’ on his ass here in SoCal. Unreal. Here is a pic of The Federline and Vicky P. making their grand arrival at London’s Heathrow Airport today:
Kevin Federline has taken his nanny show overseas — he’s following Britney Spears abroad with his broad and will make a small fortune this month — babysitting. Our sources say Britney will take Sean Preston and Jayden James everywhere she tours — next stop … London. During the month of June, we’re told K-Fed will rake in approximately $30,000 for his babysitting services — this on top of the $20k he already gets a month in child support. True enough, it’s what Britney has to pay so she can take the kids on the road. So $30,000 for making sure the nanny makes a proper PB&J … where do we sign up?!
This is just gross. I admit, K-Fed deserves props for taking care of his children when Britney Spears was not well enough to do so on her own but the way he’s been milking her now that she’s better and is willing to care for her children is absolutely disgusting. If he were any kind of parent, he would figure out a way to care for his children rather than demanding so much money from the other parent who makes all the cash. K-Fed won’t even have to take care of his kids if he don’t want to, the nannies will take care of the kiddies. … as TMZ points out, he’s getting paid $30,000 just to let Britney bring her kids with her to Europe where she’ll be touring for the next few weeks. It’s very clear that Britney loves her children very much … she shouldn’t have to pay these exorbitant sums just to be with her children. The fact that she does so and tolerates K-Fed’s demands says a lot about her commitment to her family. IMHO, Federline’s behavior speaks just as clearly about his commitment as well.

Come on now Trent, lets not make assumptions. What leads you to believe that KFed is ‘demanding’ $30K extra a month? What if that’s the sum that Brit’s camp offered him? Remember, Brit’s still under a conservatorship, she’s not calling the shots. Its just as likely that Daddy Spears and crew offered KFed that nice sum to ensure that he would oblige having the kids over there. Without the kids there Britney probably wouldn’t perform as well. With bad performances her career will go into the gutter again. And her career in the gutter means Daddy Spears and KFeds lifestyle would have to be seriously downgraded.

I know you love Britney but she is still not 100%. Her career is back on track but she isn’t making decisions professionally or personal, her Daddy ( and whoever he hires, note she’s also paying her Dad) and Larry are. Until she can take total control of her life and prove she can take care of herself and her boys, then yes, she’s going to have run things by Kevin when it relates to THEIR children . She can start by taking control of her professional life.

Diddy pays over $58,000 in child support payments.
Charlie Sheen pays $52,000.
Danny Bonaduce $16,000.
Don’t let your hatred for all things K-Fed cloud the issue. He’s an easy person to beat on but it is “child support” payments. I’m not a fan of his, or Britney’s for that matter, but I’m sure her lip syncing tour isn’t going in debt because she’s throwing money at her ex-husband. What matters is they’re all happy and the kids are healthy.

Second of all, he’s constantly demanding $$$$ out of Britney. He doesn’t even have a job for crying out loud! At least the other celebrity spouses do some work for a living… and if he’s such a good day then how come we don’t see him with his other kids? Or his constant worry about them of missing them? Sorry Trent but you obviously have a serious bias. I find it interesting that you switch back and forth from referring to the kids as “her children” and “his children” to make you point. Personally I think it’s a much better situation to have both actually parents on tour rather than pawning the kids off on a nanny which is probably what they are use to getting from mommy. K-Fed surly isn’t without fault but I really don’t think he is as bad as you would like to paint him out to be. I think he proved that when he stepped up to bat while Britney went through her “fragile” phase. He’s a moocher to an extent but in this situation you are a basher to an extent. Who’s worse?

I have to say that I completely disagree with you on this. The $20 k that Britney pays K-Fed is only for child support (as far as I know). Child support is paid for the care of the children only. K-Fed isn’t getting this money for himself. It’s for the childrens’ expenses – roof, food, clothes, etc. Child support is calculated based upon each party’s respective income. Britney pays a large amount of child support because she earns a ton of money!
With respect to the $30k additional that K-Fed is getting for coming on tour – you have to consider the fact that K-Fed is basically putting his life on hold so Britney can tour the world and rake in millions, while he’s only getting $30k. She’s obviously getting the better deal.
In light of Britney’s past behavior, K-Fed could have made this all very messy, but he did not do so. I think that is a credit to him.
I love this blog, but a little objectivity sometimes could go a long way.

@HD — I think they have bowing alleys in London and he did bring along his girlfriend so I don’t know that he really needs to “put his life on hold”. unless you mean spend time with his other children, then again, Shar doesn’t pay him anything to parent them. I’m sorry but K-Fed doesn’t work and he lives very well. It seems clear what is going on, at least to me. You are free to believe what you wish.

If the genders were reversed, would we still be as outraged? Perhaps societal norms are playing a role in our opinion…
Also, no where in this “report” (a term used loosely because I find it hard to decipher the writer’s opinion of K-Fed versus the facts of the situation) do we see if Britney is paying for K-Fed’s airfare and other travel arrangements, hotel costs, etc. Perhaps, and I am just thinking wildly here, perhaps this additional $30k is to cover the costs of being in multiple cities, multiple hotels in one month. Maybe it isn’t “babysitting” money but money that he can’t put up for those extra cost. Perhaps she wants her kids to be in the top notch hotel with Kevin and is willing to pay that cost. Perhaps she wants her kids to be in first class or a private jet with Kevin and she is willing to pay that cost. Maybe, just maybe, she is willing to pay for her kids to have room service rather than McDonalds in whatever country they are in at X day.
Or maybe I’m just crazy…. :-/

He is such a LOSER and I HATE the fact this a$$hole does nothing in life but pretend to take care of his kids. If he’s such a loving father, why don’t we ever see pictures of him w/ Shar’s kids too. Only when Britney would bring them around would we see them. He is using Brit and this has nothing to do w/ gender, he’s just a bum. Although I don’t think Brit is ready to watch her kids 24/7 I don’t think it makes KFed a saint. What does he do, make sure the nannies are showing up everyday just to make sure he gets his check in the mail. I’ve yet to see pics of him having fun, playing, taking the kids to parks.. Nope, never.

The difference between his kids with Shar and his kids with Britney: he’s the one with the primary custody of the kids with Brit. Yes, he should be with his older children more, and he’s hardly father of the year material, but of course he’s going to be more involved with the ones he’s got custody of. That’s why he gets child support in the first place, and why he’s even on tour with her.
And it doesn’t really matter that he doesn’t have a job, or whether or not he wants one, he wouldn’t be able to make a living at all while on tour.
And Chase, SFW if none of us here make as much as the tour rakes in? Newsflash: NOT EVERYONE CARES ABOUT MONEY.

I’m not saying that every cent is going toward the kids. I do not know how he spends the money. All I’m saying is that child support is supposed to be used for the kids for the kids – roof, food, clothes, etc. That’s what the law requires.
For normal people $20k is a ton of money for child support. But that’s the amount someone like Brit needs to pay. The Court uses “child support guidelines” to calculate child support. The guidelines are made up of several factors. Basically, the Judge will insert the custodial parent’s income (k-fed) – or in his case, since it appears that he does not have any income, the Judge will impute income to him (whatever he thinks K-Fed should be making) and then inserts Britney’s income. The guidelines also provide for other expenses – then you get the child support figure.
So based on Britney’s lifestyle, income, and the standard of living she enjoys, her children are supposed to enjoy the same lifestyle. Fortunately for K-Fed, he is the custodial parent and he gets to enjoy that lifestyle through the children.
I’m not saying that he’s a good father or that he cares well for the kids. All I’m saying is that we shouldn’t knock him on the money issue. Esp. since 20-50k is not really a factor for Brit. Hopefully, she can get out from the conservatorship and have her kids full time; as a result, she can stop giving K-Fed money, which he may or may not be spending on the kids.

@Tania – I don’t find it weird for a Russell to pay Kimora 40g/month. Kevin is a man and Britney is paying for Child Support. You see that all of the people paying out from your list are men. Britney is the only female I’ve ever heard of to pay a husband child support.
We know that kevin gets paid 20g/month from child support, but it is totally living off of these kids.
I’d like to know much of that child support money is being used for SP and JJ.
He probably supports all of his kids with Britney’s money.

And, yes, I actually do; Kimora is CEO of her own clothing line; She’s also in a reality tv show (barf) and involved in other fashion crap as well. Denise Richards is an ACTRESS and has her own reality television show. Need I go on? Kevin and his lawyer screwed Britney up BIG TIME when her mental state wasn’t all that great and they took advantage of her. I don’t understand the whole relevancy of lipsynching and what not factors into this but OKAY. It’s just ridiculous that Britney has to pay him for wanting their kids to get on tour with her. I understand the child support, because let’s face it, the kids are famous and they need security (aka Lonnie)….too many wackos out there.
But the boys costs (I only count food, cuz they share a room/suite with Brit) are pretty minimal and already covered. So the 30,000 are in fact poket money.

For the record, a judge never ordered Britney to pay a certain amount in child support. Her & Kevin agreed to 20,000 a month. Then in exchange for more time w/ her boys Britney gave into kevin’s demand of 5,000 more a month. See a pattern here? I don’t buy that Kevin cares about the boys so much. He just sees them as his meal ticket. Or else he wouldn’t demand more money to see them LESS!

TMZ reported at the time Britney was about to start her tour that she would pay for all the extra cost of transportation, protection, housing etc. for the boys to be with her on tour. The $30,000 extra that Kevin getsIN ADDITION TO the $20,000 he gets in child support is ridiculous!! He has no job, his girlfriend, brother and best friend all live in his LA home and he pays for all that with Britney’s money. It’s disgusting!! And anyone who cannot see that this man cares more about himself and making money than about his kids is crazy!!! As someone else pointed out: What about Shar’s kids?
