Justin Gaston, newly single from Miley Cyrus, has been posting tweet messages on his official Twitter profile about a new tattoo that he just got added to his body … but he is choosing not to show off the new ink and instead is showing off some old ink. Justin posted a photo of a flower tattoo that he had previously inked on his inner bicep:
He tweets: Just got my new tattoo but I’m keeping it a secret.. Got this old one retouched so I’ll share the old one for now
It appears that the old tattoo was “retouched” by filling in the center of the flower with black ink. But, if you look closely, you can see that there were initials inside the flower that Justin chose to cover up with the new ink (I’ve colored in the initials in the second close-up photo to highlight them):
Yes, folks … Justin Gaston used to have the initials MC tattooed on his arm. I guess in the wake of his break-up with Miley, Justin thought it best to “retouch” his tattoo. Apparently his new, private, tattoo is on his wrist … I can’t wait to see what he got done.
I don’t like how people are criticizing his tattoo so much, it could have significant meaning to him and even if it doesn’t it’s his body, he can do what he wants with it. Personally there’s something about the simplicity of it that I really like.
Not to be pedantic, and especially not to be fixated on this guy and his tattoo, but doesn’t that mean the initials are…reversed on his arm? Because didn’t Trent flip the pic so we could read the initials as MC? If so, the actual tatt reads CM.
@ej — the photo was taken with the Photo Booth application on a Mac computer which created a mirror image. if he were wearing shirt with lettering, the words would’ve been reversed as well. photos taken with a Mac in this way have to be reversed.

I dont mind the tattoo.. its fairly individual, ambiguous and simple. I think it is a cool statement.
Tattooing a boyfriend/girlfriend’s name is in the same level as making a video of a sexual act. IT SHOULD NOT BE DONE.
I used to live with a few tattoo artists and they always called it the “kiss of death” when people got their significant other’s name tattooed. It guaranteed repeat business because in a few months they’d be getting paid to cover that sucker up :)
Also: I know she’s a probably very mature and is a self-made multi-millionaire. But she’s 15 and he’s 20. What was he thinking would happen?
That is hands down the most rubbish tattoo i have ever seen, never mind the fact that it is on a grown man.
