Jesus Luz Models For Pepe Jeans
You betta work

Jesus Luz has scored himself some more modeling work in recent weeks … just last week we saw his new ad campaign photo for Dolce & Gabanna and today we get to see him featured in two ads for Pepe Jeans London … but you must look closely as Jesus is relegated to the background of the photos, almost hidden by the tree:

The campaign photos were shot by photographer Tom Munro for Pepe Jeans‘ Fall/Winter ’09 season. I understand that the theme of this campaign to capture a group of “cool young bohemians” who flee the hectic madness of the city to enjoy the “beautiful, golden, autumnal landscape”. I dunno about you but images like this make me want to buy new jeans. Meh … altho this ad campaign ain’t all that, I am pleased to know that Jesus is holding his own and is getting actual modeling jobs. I’m sure being known as Madonna‘s toyboy doesn’t hurt but … work is work.

    Um…I’m kinda over him already.

Ah, he’s MUCH better when you can’t actually see his face.

I’m convinced as soon as Madonna moves onto her next conquest this guy will go back to being a nobody. So come on Madge, do us a favor and start sleeping with someone else!

Uggh, I hate the fact that this guy is getting a free ride in the modeling world now that he’s Madonna’s boy toy. Believe me, there are a TON of male models that have better faces and bodies than his, but they’re still relatively unknown. Shame on the modeling business.

But I gotta say, it’s nice to see double-standards reversed for once. You keep diggin’ for that gold, Jesus!

it should also be noted that tom munro is a friend of madonnas and the director of the ‘give it to me’ video.

If it weren’t for the Madonna connection, most people will not notice him in these ads. There are, after all, other models here. But then again, if it weren’t for the Madonna connection, I don’t think he’d be getting these jobs.
