David and I made our way back to SoCal safe and sound last night … tho not without a wee bit of a snafu. Our flight was delayed an hour due to weather (somewhere else, it wasn’t raining in Detroit or LA) but as far as delays go, this one wasn’t all that bad at all. The extra time allowed me to watch, in full, V: The Final Battle on my iPhone:

As you may recall, I was able to watch the entirety of the original miniseries V on the flight to Detroit last week in preparation for the ABC remake of V that is scheduled as a midseason replacement next year. Just as I loved the V miniseries, V: The Final Battle was just as awesome. I had truly forgotten what a great story V offered. All of the most memorable moments from the V phenomenon in the 80′s are featured in V: The Final Battle (with the highlight being the birth of the lizard baby). Fans of the original 80′s miniseries should seek out the DVDs and watch it all over again … it’s pretty damn fantastic.

Because we got in so late, there wasn’t any time to go out and meet up with some friends who were hanging out. We got home, dropped our bags and pretty much passed out.

Tonight is gonna be superfun tho! David and I will be attending the 10th Anniversary Party for All American Guys at Eleven here in West Hollywood, CA tonight and I am very excited:

It will be such a treat to see all those Hot Dudes live and in person. I’ll do my best to have fun pics to share tomorrow ;)

Also, I’ll be rooting for the Detroit Red Wings who play Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI tonight!

We are just 2 games away from winning the 2009 Stanley Cup! I know the mighty Wings will get the job done right!! Go Wings!!
