Last month we learned that Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester had teamed up with Cobra Starship to duet with the band on their new single Good Girls Go Bad from their upcoming new album Hot Mess. Not only does Leighton sing on the track but, as we saw from behind the scene photos from the vid shoot, she also appears in the music video for the song. This song is so infectious, I love it! Cobra Starship are pretty dope, I am very much looking forward to their new album which is due out August 11. Additionally, Leighton Meester will be releasing an album of her own … if this performance on Good Girls Go Bad is any indication, methinks it’s gonna have a poppy sound. So … do y’all like?

I love CSS but Leighton? Meh. it was all auto-tuned to death. I hate when people rely on auto-tune to make them sing on key because they can’t do it themselves. Anyone can sing well if you do that (ahem, KANYE)

The song rocks..At first time I didnt like it but now love it!!
Personally I think Leighton’s part could be better…I have heard her singing “Bette Davis Eyes” and her voice there is amazing, but in Good Girls Go Bad, I think she didnt put much effort and singing technique.
Her new album will be interesting though :)
