First Look: Cobra Starship, ‘Good Girls Go Bad’
Last month we learned that Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester had teamed up with Cobra Starship to duet with the band on their new single Good Girls Go Bad from their upcoming new album Hot Mess. Not only does Leighton sing on the track but, as we saw from behind the scene photos from the vid shoot, she also appears in the music video for the song. At last, the video has been completed and has been released. Here are a few screencaps from the new Cobra Starship music video Good Girls Go Bad featuring Leighton Meester:
Looks hot, right? As you may recall, word broke a couple of weeks ago that Leighton Meester also features in a new/old sex tape that managed to make its way to the Internets. This song is so infectious, I love it! Cobra Starship are pretty dope, I am very much looking forward to their new album which is due out August 11. Additionally, Leighton Meester will be releasing an album of her own … if this performance on Good Girls Go Bad is any indication, methinks it’s gonna have a poppy sound. So … do y’all like?

Cool video!…but “nice voice”? Umm…she didn’t sing a note. She was “talking on key”. I may be the only one here who’s been a vocal student for years, but I can’t be the only one who noticed she never actually SANG.

people seriously think she has a good voice? Her voice it totally weak and they auto-tuned and pro-tools it to high heaven and it still sounds like any generic chick

@Lolly- True, she did not really sing a note. But, neither did Gabe. No one in that song actually sang.
But, it’s still a good song, and I can imagine that she’s got a good voice, based off of this performance.

you guys should check out this vid on youtube if you want to get a better feel for what leighton’s voice sounds like. it’s not exactly the kind of music i normally listen to, but i was deffo impressed with her voice. i didn’t even think it was her at first, but it is! i’ll be eager to see what her album sounds like, it seems like she has a pretty good range. you can check out the vid here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44RiDOHJKc0

I love CSS but Leighton? Meh. it was all auto-tuned to death. I hate when people rely on auto-tune to make them sing on key because they can’t do it themselves. Anyone can sing well if you do that (ahem, KANYE)

The song rocks..At first time I didnt like it but now love it!!
Personally I think Leighton’s part could be better…I have heard her singing “Bette Davis Eyes” and her voice there is amazing, but in Good Girls Go Bad, I think she didnt put much effort and singing technique.
Her new album will be interesting though :)
