This is really nice Trent, I found that 20/20 special to be heartbreaking too. She really did suffer as so, so, so, many others with cancer do… nobody deserves to suffer like that and I hope some additional public awareness of how to prevent or fight cancer results from her life story.

I heard about Farrah’s passing hours before I heard about MJ’s and I was/am saddened to see that she lost her fight. I knew she wasn’t doing well, as was reported a few days ago, but I was hoping that she would find the strength to pull through the worst and come out on top. It’s so sad that the world had to lose not 1 but 2 icons on the same day. She was a TV Legend. Her character on Charlie’s Angels is still as beloved today as it was when she first originated it. I sincerely hope she may finally rest in peace after her ordeal. RIP Farrah, we won’t forget you!

The minute I heard about MJ I turned to my boyfriend and said “Well we won’t be hearing anything else about Farrah today” I’m so glad that you took the time to mention her in one of your blog articles instead of just the one line she’s getting in everyone elses. It reminds me of Princes Di and Mother Theresa dying the same day. It was all about Diana and nothing about Mother Theresa.

It’s sad that her death is being overshadowed by someone like Michael Jackson. I know people look at him as an icon but for the last few years he’s been anything but that. Yes it’s sad that he’s gone but you can’t live the kind of life that he’s allegedly been living all these years and excpect to live to an old age.

Nice tribute, Trent. I was a kid when she was an angel and was married to Lee Majors (I loved the 6 Million Dollar Man). I think I had a poster of the two of them on my wall (lordy be!). RIP, Farrah, you showed the world that women can be beautiful, intelligent, and strong.
