Wow. She really can pull off anything, can’t she? I love seeing her in photos like this. It’s such a stark contrast to her Harry Potter work. I adore Emma, and completely agree with you about her level-headedness. It’s always so great to see young girls in the spotlight who manage to keep themselves composed. She definitely has my respect.

That cover picture is horrific! Whoever did that to her should be ashamed. The rest of the pictures are okay, but this is definitely my least favorite spread that we have seen of her.

She reminds me of a Anne Hathaway. Intelligent, smart, pretty. I would say – takes very smart, risky & great roles. But i’ve only seen Emma in Harry Potter. Thats not saying she isnt intelligent. She suit that role SO well. She seems like a great actor and thats why she reminds me so much of Anne Hathaway. Anne may do the odd, commercial, romance comedy flick but she has so much talent also.

i gotta say this girl is pretty flawless – shes a decent actress, level headed, and beautiful. i hope after she finishes school, she gets back into acting, i think she could have a long career.

She reminds me a bit of Natalie Portman!
I don’t know why, maybe it’s the education thing, but there just seems to be more of a grounded feel to her, which is similar to Natalie Portman!

Trent, Completely agree about the UK “churning out these amazingly well-adjusted young actors.” I think we also have the UK to thank for successfully releasing a series of movies (and what will be 8 at that) without losing cast members or sacrificing quality for public demand of quick releases. Sadly, I am pretty confident the US would have messed up the Harry Potter series with greed.

She would get more privacy here though. Ask David Beckham, the paparazzi in England are absolutely NUTS. Our tabloids don’t hold a candle to theirs. She’s amazing though and she’s one of the biggest reasons I finally decided to pick up the Harry Potter books and read them. I’m on Goblet of Fire now.

Please don’t jump the gun, people. Some of us bored Columbians have assiduously scanned the Brit Elle magazine scans and have not found a single quote where Emma Watson says “I’m coming to Columbia.” Even in the quotes above in this article, she never mentions Columbia.

Sources at other Ivies have reported that the Brown undergrad acceptance office has actually accidentally leaked her acceptance of the Brown place. So no – NYDN/Perez Hilton/all the crazy London mags are wrong.
