Courtney Love Unleashes The Crazy On NYC
Yesterday we learned that Courtney Love is making a serious attempt to relaunch her music career by trying to revive her old band Hole with a new album. Previously, C. Love attempted to revive her solo career and threatened to release an album called Nobody’s Daughter … but the album never came. In a new interview with NME, Courtney revealed that Nobody’s Daughter will now come out as a Hole album at the end of this year or early next year. Now that Court has dragged herself out of the hole she’s been hiding in, she’s back on the scene … roaming the streets of NYC:
That the woman is able to put one foot in front of the other and actually walk down the street seems like a huge accomplishment to me. I had my doubts that this “new album” of hers would ever come to light … but if she is serious about employing the aid of other people (ie. actual musicians) then the disc might eventually be released at some point. The UK has their Amy Winehouse, we have our Courtney Love. Heaven help us all.

Um, I don’t know what you think of as a “real musician” (I guess Britney), but Courtney has written and played her own compositions for some time AND had a great deal of success. She may be crazy, but she has a ligitiamate talent and should garner respect for THAT.

She looks like a crack whore. By real musician, I believe Trent is referring to someone who consistantly releases quality music, tours and produces other projects, someone like Trent Reznor or one of the many other artists he often mentions. Courtney may have been popular in the 90’s, but her time has long since passed. Now she is just a drug addict known for her crazy antics.

It’s a good thing that the people who like Courtney don’t freak the fuck out when people talk shit about her….. (like some Britney fans)…………………….. I’m glad she looks like she’s put on a little healthy weight. Her face isn’t as sunken.
Her ‘new album’ would prolly sound a lot BETTER with some Hole bandmates working in it.
