Beyoncé‘s new concert tour gets underway here in the US on Sunday night when she plays the first date of her I Am … Tour at Madison Square Garden in NYC … but right now we get a sneak preview at some of the photos that will appear in B‘s tourbook. While the woman can look ridic sometimes, she really does look fierce most of the time:
Hahahaha … the glasses are the WORST … but I do like the photos that allude to wedding pics. They may be the only wedding pics of Beyoncé that we’ll ever get to see. I am very excited that I’m seeing B live in concert on July 13 here in LA. I will deffo be picking up one of these tourbooks … Sasha Fierce, indeed.

I don’t get the point of a tourbook though?
I don’t understand Beyonce’s alter ego. In my opinion, Beyonce is an artist who doesn’t transfer well into another character besides herself. Her whole Sacha Fierce comes off awkward and I don’t buy it. When Madonna transfers herself into another persona, I believe it because she studies the character she wants to be. With Beyonce it just seems like she puts on some clothes that she normally wouldn’t wear and that’s it. Beyonce, stick to yourself.
Was the bottom right outfit designed by the Aretha hat designer?

Has she had more work done? She looks so different nowadays.
I think she is gorgeous and incredibly talented. I think that she has the alter ego so she can sing lyrics like, “What? You want me naked? If you like this angle you can tape it”, without people thinking that she really is like that.
I really, really respect the fact that she doesn’t sell her wedding pictures and her private life to gain more attention for herself. The fact that we haven’t seen those pictures really say a lot about how it IS possible to keep things private. It also says a lot about her that she chose to take that route.
She’s gorgeous, but she’s not coming through in these shots at all. Would take old Annie Lennox or Grace Jones or the new Roisin Murphy anyday over these boring pics.
Um.. What the hell is sticking out of her butt in that last pic? Looks like something outta “Aliens”. Wow.
