Pink reader Jeff gave me the head’s up that rap singer Asher Roth is featured in the Summer 2009 issue of Rap-Up magazine in a new ad for G-Shock watches. Now, I don’t generally pay attention to Asher Roth or his music (and am more than a bit dismayed that David is a fan of his hit song I Love College) but something about this new ad for G-Shock caught my eye:
Asher Roth is baring all in Rap-Up’s Summer 2009 issue. The “I Love College” rapper is seen wearing only a strategically placed watch as part of the “Shock Value” campaign for G-Shock. When he arrived on set in Brooklyn, Asher refused to wear clothing, instead opting to go completely nude.
HMMM … yeah … I tend to be a sucker for cute nekkidness, call me crazy. I understand this particular Summer 2009 issue of Rap-Up includes more photos of Asher‘s G-Shock photoshoot … it might be worth picking up.

Yeah, something caught my eye in this ad also, he appears to be a douchebag.
He grew up like thirty minutes from where I live, but I never liked his music. It is a cute picture though.

Your comment about “being a bit dismayed about David’s like” sounds very Kate Gosselin to me.Be careful or in 2 years you are going to be seen divorce,well sleeping alone in So.
