Angelina Jolie Confesses That She May Adopt Again
"We love children, we want a big family, so we never - you know, never say no"

For prolly the umpteenth millionth time, Angelina Jolie revealed in an interview that she and pseud-hubby Brad Pitt have not ruled out adopting another child to add to their already sizable family. Angelina appeared on CNN‘s Anderson Cooper 360° to talk about the plight of the world’s refugees and confessed to Cooper that she would “never say no” to more kiddies:

She may already have six children, but Angelina Jolie says she and partner Brad Pitt would “never say no” to adopting more. The actress, who made an appearance on CNN’S Anderson Cooper 360 to mark World Refugee Day in her role as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations, confirmed that the couple intends to expand their already large brood. “We love children, we want a big family, so we never – you know, never say no,” she said. But later, the Tomb Raider star welled up with tears as she spoke about coming face to face with the plight of displaced children in war-torn Afghanistan. She said: “He had this really remarkable, unbreakable spirit, a spirit beyond anything I can imagine. He had lost everything and he was just so full of laughter and kindness. He passed away a few months after I was there. And so I always wonder about him and young people that you meet and you just think, in any other situation, if this person had been given a chance, what an extraordinary adult he would have been.” Angelina also revealed how she talks to her children about the tragedy they see around them when they visit refugee camps. She said: “I usually just explain to my kids that there are other families in the world that aren’t as fortunate as ours and other kids. So I tell them that it’s important for all of us to do what we can and then go to these places and understand what’s happening. Hopefully I’ll take them to as many countries as I can and raise them with an education of the world.”

Since Angelina gave birth to her twin babies last July 12, perhaps it is time to add another child to the Brangelina brood. Ange and Brad still have less children than the Jon & Kate Plus 8 family and far less children than Octomom Nadya Suleman has … I think more kiddies would be great! After the jump, check out Angelina‘s video interview with Anderson Cooper on CNN earlier this week …

Whether she adopts more kids or not, it is plainly obvious that Angelina cares about the suffering going on in the world. She always impresses me and I thank her for her tireless philanthropic endeavors. This was a great interview, so glad to know that Ange is still very much committed to her very important work.

That was a very impressive interview. Angelina does a lot of great things for refugees and I am moved by her actions. I was never really big on her, but this interview really changed my mind about her.

    Blah, she annoys me.

HOW ABOUT ADOPTING A POOR NEEDY AMERICAN CHILD FOR A CHANGE—————AREN’T THEY GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU?

  5. Gillian says:

I think everything she does to help the people that are less fortunate than her, is really commendable. I don’t think there are many people out there who really use their influence to help people the way she does. There are so many celebrities out there who really do nothing productive with their lives other than party (À la Paris Hilton), so for there to be someone out there like Angelina Jolie who really has committed to helping others, it’s great.
And of course Anderson Cooper always gives amazing interviews, he’s one of the better journalist’s out there, who receives alot of attention.

  6. CHASE says:

@ Sallye – You’re not the first person to say that… I think American kids who are orphans have it way better off than orphans in the third world countries… here, they have shelters and proper clothing and nutrition. Over there? Not so much. So, while her adopting choices may be debatable, it’s a nice gesture to do. I do find it a little odd how they can get the same amount of attention to each individual child but hey, whatever floats their boat. They clearly have all the money to take care of the children so why not?

She looks good here; she looks normal; not scary goth. She looks naturally beautiful. I think it’s great what she’s doing raising awareness and donating her money. Sure it gets a lot of press and there are celebrities that donate money as well that don’t get the press she does, but then again, she’s a hot topic, the press is gonna stick to what the public wants. I also understand that there’s a lot of red tape surrounding American adoptions. I agree w/ Chase as well about foreign orphanages.
But, I still think she sucks for being a homewrecker, not once, but twice! Just stay away; completely away from married men no matter what they say, that it’s practically over.. or she doesn’t understand.. yadda yadda; stay away… still makes u a homewrecker.. so that sucks… She’s stunning.. she doesn’t need to be doing that.

  8. Lisa says:

I hope she’s not Mommy Dearest revisited. Her eyes seem cold to me. And Brad’s are not as twinkly as they once were.
And did anyone but me wonder if she had a surrogate for the twins because she bounced back the quickest I have ever seen any new mom?

  9. Christy says:

Why don’t she call Octomom or Jon and Kate I bet the kids would be a whole hell of alot happier

  10. Robert Jessee says:

CHASE dosent have a clue what they are talking about kind like pittlina

@ Sallye – a child saved is a child saved, regardless of the child’s origin or birth country. angelina should be commended for what she does, not degraded for her choice to adopt from foreign countries rather than the US. to the best of my knowledge, i would argue that children in need of adoption in the US live in far better conditions than in slums like in other countries. despite this, there’s no point bashing angelina because she decided to adopt from abroad. how many celebrities bother doing what she does?

“And so I always wonder about him and young people that you meet and you just think, in any other situation, if this person had been given a chance, what an extraordinary adult he would have been.” – thats so true, and so very sad.

  12. Meream says:

I don’t get why people don’t like how she lives her life. She is commendable because she has the means to help and she actually does. There are other celebrities who are just as rich but decide to do other things with their wealth. It’s their life and they have other priorities but you gotta hand it to Angelina for doing everything she can to make the world better for everyone.

And can we, mere spectators, really know if the “shine” in Brad’s eyes have changed? Come on.

  13. Joanne says:

There are over half a million kids in the American foster care system who need a permanent home. They are often moved from place to place, until they turn 16 and are considered ‘adults’ and are ‘eased’ out of the system.
In the foster care system, children are five times more likely to die from physical abuse and 11 times more likely to be sexually abused than in their own homes … 70% of the USA prison propulation were former foster care kids … Suggesting that parentless kids in America somehow ‘have it better’ is statistically WRONG.
