A Long Overdue Date

Last night I met up with my friend Angie for a dinner late that was long overdue … we had been talking about supping together at Chick-Fil-A in Redondo Beach, CA for MONTHS now and we finally got around to having our date:
We are both big Chick fans so we had ourselves a great meal (complete with their NEW peach milkshake) and even greater conversation. I’m hoping that we’ll get to hang out more once she and her family moves closer to LA. Head on over to HoundstoothRadio.com to hear Angie play some amazing songs :)
I think there may be a movie in my plans for tonight … but what movie and with who … is yet to be determined.
I heard that place is supposed to be amazing… too bad where I live we don’t have NOTHING that good.

I have to agree with Adri… I miss my Chick and would love to try the new peach milkshake.
I just had this for lunch today! My friend eating with me said he wanted to try the peach milkshake and I said it sounded it gross. I guess I was wrong. I won’t tell him that thou! I LOVE Chick…it is so damn good!
Yum! And I just heard that at least two Chick-fil-As will be opening by fall 2010 in Chicagoland – YAY!!!!!!!
I was just at the airport in atlanta, and was doing a really long layover, after I happily had other food in hand, I walked by a Chick-fil-A and almost started to weep!! I missed my one chance! will have to come to CA for it!
I work at a chick fil a, so i’m kind of over the food. but the peach shakes are awesome! i also have a closet full of little cows.

@Jill — get the chicken nuggets, a large waffle fries and either the lemonade or the tea. oh, and try the peach milkshake for dessert. you will love!!!
How in the hell do you eat so much junk and stay so thin and healthy looking??? I’m so jealous!
Trent, you should def be given Chick-fil-a free for life or something, with the amount of attention you’ve given it! I like it too, but take it for granted because it flow freely where I live!!

I didn’t know they had a peach milkshake, but if you say it’s good, then I’m going to get one tomorrow. I have a friend that works there and she is always giving me coupons for free sandwiches. Mmmmm… And they have the best waffle fries.
Trent, have u had the chicken salad sandwhich? A friend at work says she’s hooked on them, and, on my morning commute the DJs were talking about how deliscious the chicken salad sandwhich is. I’m a brown bag girl so I don’t leave for lunch; but tempted to since everyone raves about it.
I worked at Chick-Fil-A in high school, never got tired of it… Lived in Vegas for 2 years and missed it. I ate there almost everyday when I was home (Georgia) in November… Now I live in Germany and I miss it SO much!! I love the wraps!
YES, we are getting a chick-a-fillet literally 5 min away from my house in the chicago suburbs. we tend to get everything first when whatever it is comes to the mid west. i love the waffle fries. they make any day better. that peach milkshake I’m going to HAVE to try!
@bosie — not that I have to defend anything but, each restaurant is independently owned and operated by individuals … i’ve met the lovely couple that owns the franchise that i frequent and am happy to support their business.
