I can’t wait for November 20th! As much as I loved Twilight, New Moon looks like it’s going to be much better and far more entertaining. Catherine Hardwick is a terrific director (Thirteen was incredible, in my opinion), but Chris Weitz is very creative, so I’m definitely excited to see what New Moon has in store for us Twilighters! PLUS, Taylor Lautner running around half-naked? Why wouldn’t it be amazing?!

I have to admit, after watching Twilight and looking more into the Twilight book series. I lost interest in it. I wasn’t even going to bother watching New Moon, but by this Trailer it looks A LOT better then Twilight. The effect of the wolves looks great, in my opinion anyways XD
So I may go see the movie- not to mention the sexyness that is Kellan Lutz will be in the movie XD
N’ Dokata Fanning, I can’t wait to see a trailer with her in it. I have liked mostly all of her movies, so I want to see how she does in this.

I really enjoyed the trailer, I actually watched it a couple times online. Im very excited to watch this movie and see all the good scenes and relive the book again.

effects are so far so good, the coloring is better (no blue filter), and the scenes that they showed in the clips were done fairly close to how I imagined them when I read the book. CHRIS WEITZ FTW!

Suhhhweet! Between the trailer and the photos of Edward in Italy…I might actually like this movie. The book about killed me emotionally, hopefully I won’t cry in the theater!

I am happy there is no color filter, but had to watch the wolf transformation a few times…overall I think this should be a good depiction. I heart around 1:25 of that clip!!! I am on team edward but damn Taylor is hot!! ;)

It seemed sort of like something was missing, but maybe its because most trailers have tons of scenes from different parts of the movie to “build” the excitement and obviously, since filming in Italy is still going on(or just finished, lol), they don’t have those scenes to show you.

I have already watched this maybe 5 times. The wolf has Taylor’s eyes!
I’m so happy the blue filter is GONE and that the make-up doesn’t look as terrible as Twilight’s.
Fingers crossed they didn’t leave a bunch of stuff out of this and that they fully develop the story (unlike Twilight)

When I saw this on the MTV Movie Awards I got so excited and was squeeing like a 13 year old and I’m 21 hahahah
But even my MOM was excited. I can’t wait to see how the pure raw emotion of New Moon is going ot be portrayed and if this trailer gives ANY indication this movie is going to be thousands times better than Twilight! ((Although I still love the first movie))

this is in regards to “The Hills” finale…the first real moment of the show took place in a long time tonight…when Lauren was leaving the church (that she was probably forced to go to) she looked like she regretted going and wanted to get out ASAP and the look on Heidi’s face when she watched her go…it was like she was dropping the “I love you Lauren” act and was glad to see her leaving…
next season looks good, I looove Kristin!

eh gawd!! that was a great movie trailer!! anyone notice that the makeup work is 1million times better than it was in Twilight??? Edward looks more like a vampire and Bella’s skin tone is darkened a bit…much better. Plus Bella looks healthier in this movie-which is odd b/c she’s mourning the “loss” of Edward.
The Jacob to wolf tranformation was awesome!! I actually yelled “woah” when I saw it!

I was kinda like…”eh boring, Kristen Stewart deadpanning as usual, RPattz looking typically ugly…” and then the bit with Jacob shirtless just woke me up and when he transformed, I just went, “COOOL!!!” Looks sooo good. I was watching it and wondering why it looked so “clear” and now I realise it’s coz the “blue filter” thing you are all talking about is gone. Let’s hope this one is better than Twilight…

i always think that kristen is not a really good actress. in fact,she seems nervous or always uncomfortable on screen ,in twilight at edward and bella at the hospital scene,bella talks so fast that i cannot understand what she’s saying. it was such a great movie. pity isnt it.

That’s not how it happens in the book, when she gets saved from Laurant (sp?) the pack is there, and she doesn’t know it’s Jacob yet! And she’s no where near his house, she’s in the middle of the woods. Let’s hope there’s not to much else that they changed.. I would imagine that they are just trying to cut the wolves part down a bit, so they’re condensing it a little bit.

WOW! Jacob’s wolf made me go WOOOJUUUU!! out loud, that was awesome. The black vampire is right, she left her there all alone, bad Edward! And she’s kind of dumb… “Oh, a paper cut” I would just run to the bathroom in silence and wrap myself up with everything I can find hahaha. I read a comment on another post that said this girl can’t act. I agree, there’s no expression in her eyes, she’s like mummified.
Shirtless Jacob ruled! I was not liking his long hair in the first one, made it hard for me to look at him hahaha I know it’s because he’s whatever tribe he is but long hair is so over, all men should’ve gotten rid of the long hair when Bon Jovi did, that’s when it died.
I’m grateful I didn’t read the books so I don’t have the whole “that is not what happened” perspective. That is why it’s called a book adaptation girls, no movie is exactly what happened in the book they are two different ways to tell stories and two different resources, maybe Bella realizing Jacob was that wolf the way the book tells it would take another extra 30 min 4 the movie that they can’t afford to have, there are lots of reasons why they need to adapt the book into a screenplay.
Edward needs to stop trying to dump her cause he gets on my nerves, either that or come pay me a visit, I won’t bleed an be a temptation, I promise!

This is way too rushed. They havnt even finished filming and they have their first trailer out- i really hope they arent skipping on the quality to get the movie out in time for holidays. Robert Pattinsons hair still hasnt grown long enough which buggs me. I think this trailer is pretty average- theres no plot to it since they havnt got all the footage yet, no music, no climax, no nothing. half the stuff in there i thought was completely irrelevant to what new moon is truely about.. and i love love love twilight so its not like me to diss it. even though i hate jacob, he was the only part of the trailer i enjoyed.. mmm. plus i did like the special effects.

At first I was also wondering what Laurent was doing so close to Jacob’s place and why Jacob was alone – but if you look at Bella’s wardrobe (and Jakes shirlessness) they are actually 2 different scenes. I’m guessing when he “explodes” into a wolf in front of her is when he fights with Paul.

I think it was great! But one thing to consider is that they have some scenes in different places on the trailer. With Jacob – he starts off shirtless – and then he has a tank on during the transformation. HMM – maybe all isn’t as it seems on the trailer. We’ll have to wait til November, if we can!

This trailer from a pure entertainment standpoint is really good. Great way to get all those little girls screaming at the MTV movie awards riled up for a new movie that is sure to make millions at the box office.
As someone who read and LOVED the series of novels that shit with Laurent (the black vampire) NEVER HAPPENS in the book…EVER. She doesnt see Jacob shift for a while because, like edward, he doesnt know if it will go so well.
In short…idk how i feel about it. I think that the trailer is good, i just with they would follow the book more. I get that it is hard to put something that long into a 2 hour movie, but atleast try! Also, they are ruining one of the best parts of the book the way they have it now. I will prolly still see it, but I am not all the way syched about it.

I agree with Kat. From an entertainment standpoint it’s good. But I’m a book junkie and while I understand that due to time constraints things need to be reworked, I feel like they go overboard at times rearranging things and it really takes away… maybe if they would’ve given the script writing process a little more time they could’ve gotten it right.
And I think Kristen Stewart is the most dull and monotone actress ever. I know Bella isn’t supposed to be super upbeat or anything but my god she puts me to sleep every time she talks.

@ Kat and Cassidy: I totally agree! My first thoughts were “WHAT?!? Thats supposed to be the meadow!”
When they started that part of the clip I was like wow we’re going to see the entire pack! And then it turned out it was Jacob phasing in what looks like his yard….there’s a significance to the whole meadow thing! Arg. I have to rewatch it and its not loading now for some reason, but when I watched MTv I thought that the wolf looked more like a cartoon cat but a lot of people seem to think otherwise…..It was cool how Edward threw Jasper but I wanted to see more of Jasper really getting at her like its described in the book..and it was weird how she was like “ooh..a papercut!” It was exciting but at the sametime made me nervous for how it turns out. And I’ve seen complaints that K Stew made Bella seem blah in the birthday scene and not playful with Edward (though she IS sad cause she doesn’t want to age). I’m trying to hold off on judging completely but I’m a little nervous!

I’m cool with them changing up the storyline, but they went against the entire part of the book with having bella be attacked in the meadow – she doesn’t know that there are werewolves at that point…or that jacob is one of them…and there aren’t supposed to be any vampires on the quileute land, i don’t care if he is a renegade vampire…
otherwise i think it is looking eons better than the first movie…i hope they do some more work to the wolves though – transformation is cool, but they are supposed to be able to walk around and stand up, etc – not look like “actual” wolves…

If you guy look close enough Bella doesn’t have on the same clothes on when she sees Laurent and when Jacob phases they just put those seens together for the trailer. So so far it looks pretty close to the book.

Jen is Correct. Those are from two different scenes. The transformation IS from the fight with Paul, NOT from the meadow with Laurent.

Was anyone else bothered by the fact that Kristen/Bella exhibited more emotion over her papercut (slinging her gift dramatically to the floor) than in demanding Robert/Edward (the purported love of her life) kiss her as her birthday gift? Her flat affect absolutely kills me. Adoraklutz she may be, best actress she is not. And I was so ready to give her a second chance. But these clips don’t give me much hope that she’ll be any better this time around. With the emotional weight of this installment on her shoulders, I guess the best we can hope for is the glee that is Jacob’s hot new bod, and the remonstrative apparitions of our beautiful Edward.

I’ve been dreading this part of the saga because of edward leaving…. but seeing Jacob transform made me go OOOOOH and it actually gave me goosebumps. So nice to see what a real budget can do for effects. Now if ONLY they’d recast Bella this movie series would be so much better. K Stewart is the WORST young actress out there. I am not the biggest fan of Kristen Stewart, I think she is so one dimensional, and there are no emotions behind her words. But, isn’t Bella supposed to be that awkward, in the books, she is incredibly clumsy and submissive. Its almost like the two characters don’t even match up. I saw the movie before i started reading the books, and there are moments when I couldn’t have pictured saying certain things that she does in the movie, its weird. She is almost too emotionally strong in the movie to be Bella, and not as winey. The trailer looks cool it’ll hopefully have better effect and acting than the first. But after all they never need to worry about the movies bombing at the box office. They could pretty much film 17 hours of Robs face and it would make millions

I agree 100% with those who say Kristen Stewart is one dimensional…she delivers every line in such a blase tone. I’ve always gotten the impression that she fancies herself “too good” of an actress for Twilight, but I think she’s pretty crappy, and the only thing she really has going for her is that she *looks* like Bella.
All that said, the trailer was pretty awesome.

Guys its just a trailer just because it shown like that in the trailer doesn’t mean thats the way its going to end up in the movie!! Wait until you see the movie before you start complaining, and not everything that happens in the book is going to happen like that in the movie….why are people always so shocked or pissed when they find that out?!?
I for one think it looks great!! Special effects much better, film quality looks better too…and they got the transformation right I was worried about that, but it looks great…luved Twilight but this looks 100 times better!! IMO.

i dunno – from the looks of this – this changed the meadow scene (cause clearly that meadow wasnt green lol) when she runs into laurent. which was a big part for the werewolfs no? but i could be wayyy off and they probably just cut and paste scenes – but the meadow should be green right? haha. its good to see alot of things have improved, it gives some hope for this one. i guess the only thing that hasnt improved its Kristens acting – such a shame,

In response to the above post I think they had to change the meadow scene because ya know in the Twilight movie the didn’t have that same meadow, they just ran up to the top of that mountain by the school. I think the trailer looks amazing!! I like the wolf transition a lot! It’s not exactly how i envisioned it, but it will do!! Can’t wait to see more clips of the movie!!

i think she IS in a meadow.. it’s just brown becoz isn’t it around like fall/winter time.. so of course the ground wouldn’t be green. and i think it’s just the power of editing an awesome movie trailer, that it SEEMED like she would be talking to Laurent next to jacob’s house.. but probably not.

They need to rework that trailer a bit. I can’t picture seeing that in the theater and being excited for the movie. I am pleased with the whole Jacob shifting biz. The papercut part ended up cheesier than expected. No worries- they’ll work it out. After seeing it, I’m leaning more toward the Jacob side of life. Eddie & B look kind of boring. :)

The scene with Laurent is in the Baseball Field they just moved it from the Meadow. I actually am really excited for the movie I think that is an amazing 1st trailer for the movie! Hopefully the next Teaser will have Italy in it maybe alittle but of the Volturi :)

Hmm okay so while I had to consult my copy of New Moon to see about the Laurent scene.. I totally forgot about that, I am still iffy on this movie. Clearly they already made some changes to the middle. Because Jacob isn’t even in the scene when Bella and Laurent come across each other in the woods. So it leaves me to ask the question what else have they changed? I know Rob will actually be in her hallicunations which is what I thought they would do all along, but if she finds out that Jake is a shapeshifter like this, than they had to change a whole portion of the middle… then again if the middle of the movie isn’t so much of her pining away for Edward and the Italy scene is longer than I guess I can’t really complain…
Can I also say though that the trailer for Transformers was kick ass? And even though I watch the HP trailer ALL THE TIME online I was squealing with happiness when I saw it… MOVE OVER Twilighters.. the HP kids are back to show you how it’s done!!

@ Cassidy and a few others. I agreed at first that the scene with Laurent was not correct, because the pack saves her not just Jacob. But then I re watched and realized she is wearing completely different clothes between the field scene and the Bella screaming for Jacob scene. So I am confident that they just pieced it together like that to make it more interesting!!!

I was supper happy with trailor, especially for Jacob’s shirtless shot. As for many trailor’s, it is not correct with the storyline of the book or even the script, just to show people a more exciting moment. They could have used the clip in the meadow where Bella is saved by all the wolves which I would’ve preffered, but then you would never see Jacob hot and shirtless and that was the best part. So they switched around scenes only for the trailor, as evidence by Bella’s wardrobe, specifically when she is running away from Laurent she has a back pack on, but when Jacob jumps over her and she falls to the ground she has no backpack on. Stop fretting, it will all work out. Although I did hear that Edward will be appearing to Bella’s visions to keep him around the middle of the book because he’s never in it til the end. Plus, they are enhancing the fight scene with Laurent to actually show the wolves take him down for more violence and action hotness.

Jacob doesn’t save her in the clip either. You see jacob shirtless..but when you see him running towards bella he is wearing a shirt and his clothes are ripped off before he becomes a wolf. They are just 2 scenes put together very very well.

OMG! i loved the book new moon, but tbh i diddnt think the film could be as good as the book, and i guess ive been proved wrong. It looks amazing. &Jacob ;O <3

I loved the twilight books they were amazing and the first movie I really enjoyed even with the bad make up blue screen etc. But this trailer seemed so stiff, and it wasnt just Bella, it just didnt seem right. And for all those people who are freaking about it not being the same as the book, go back and watch the trailer again, Jake running and transforming is a different scene entirely from Bella being attacked by Laurent, shes wearing different clothes. So dont worry Im sure the integrity of the book will remain intact, it was just a badly put together trailer of a movie which hasnt finished shooting. Anyway I’m on team Jake always have been and Tayler was the perfect choice. Cant wait for November.

I think Bella’s acting suxs she has no emotion no passion…I dont get it! Shes beautiful but needs a better acting coach! But again she’s still young.
