Finally, at long last … after a misstep or two, we finally get to see what the official movie poster for The Twilight Saga: New Moon looks like. While we did get to see official artwork featuring the new wolf pack that has been cast for the film, we had yet seen any artwork that featured any of the three main characters — Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. The release of this new poster solves that problem by featuring all three of these characters together … behold:
What do you think? I like the poster … putting all three characters together really gives you a sense of how the drama unfolds in the story. Sure, Jacob Black is wearing a shirt (boo) but if you look real close he looks like he’s ready to kick some vampire ass (yay):
This is only the first in a series of movie posters for this film, I’m sure. Twilight provided character art for each of the main characters … I suspect New Moon will provide the same. There is still hope for a shirtless Jacob Black to come. Do you like this poster?

I want to marry Taylor Lautner.
I think it represents the book well. Jacob continues to grow, so in New Moon he may not be taller than Edward, but he does tower over Bella. I have no clue how they are going to make Taylor fit the part as the series goes on but he does look older here. I love the poster, I do however thing Bella should have been looking toward Edward but whatever its cool nonetheless!
Although it displays the love triangle pretty well through their facial expressions, I think that maybe Edward should not have been in the front, since he really isn’t in much of this book. It would have been better if he was behind Bella, staring jealously at Jacob/Bella or in the background. I do think their expressions are perfect though…
I agree, good poster, but I do think that Bella looks off.
I think that it represents New Moon good though. It’s good and I can’t wait to see more!

I didnt like the poster at first glance but the more I look at it the more I start to like it. I know Edward is the money shot (& he does look hot!) but I think Bella should have been front and center.
@V: I had the same thought. This looks like its Kristen not Bella…..Overall I’m pretty underwelmed (sp?). Shouldn’t Bella be looking forlorn or something? She just looks blank. I’m not sure what I expected for a moviepost for New Moon, but this almost looks more eclipse, with Jacob coming between the two of them and them almost trying to look at each other. I feel like it’d be better if you had Jacob comforting or protecting a sad looking Bella and Edward a bit separate from them, if not just distant.
Bella looks blank, as usual. Very underwhelmed by Kristen Stewart, but that’s nothing new. I agree Jacob should be photoshopped to be taller and Edward should lose the gross wristband, but altogether, it’s not terrible. Everyone is going to have their own idea of how the poster should look, but I say the proof is in the pudding. Come November we’ll see how good of a movie the studio has squeezed out (in record time.)

I can’t say I love it to be honest. I actually like the fan artwork better. But maybe that had something to do with the fact that Taylor was topless…just saying:)

I think it would have been better if Bella had been between Edward and Jacob..it would have been better symbolism, LOL. Instead it looks like Bella leaves Edward for Jacob and Edward lurks around because hes jealous.
Also, I don’t think theres a way for them to make Jacob “tower” over Edward. I mean, sure, they could put him on crates and such during filming, but it would look really, really fake in the poster.
