‘The Twilight Saga: New Moon’ Releases An Official Movie Poster
Threesome

Finally, at long last … after a misstep or two, we finally get to see what the official movie poster for The Twilight Saga: New Moon looks like. While we did get to see official artwork featuring the new wolf pack that has been cast for the film, we had yet seen any artwork that featured any of the three main characters — Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. The release of this new poster solves that problem by featuring all three of these characters together … behold:

What do you think? I like the poster … putting all three characters together really gives you a sense of how the drama unfolds in the story. Sure, Jacob Black is wearing a shirt (boo) but if you look real close he looks like he’s ready to kick some vampire ass (yay):

This is only the first in a series of movie posters for this film, I’m sure. Twilight provided character art for each of the main characters … I suspect New Moon will provide the same. There is still hope for a shirtless Jacob Black to come. Do you like this poster?

Might be a stupid question but : why does Jacob have short hair on this poster ? Isn’t the character supposed to wear it long ?

  2. wallflower says:

Bella looks like her Mama should have warned her about her face freezing like that. And it almost appears that Jacob has a finger in her waistband. Bah, I hope they’re not going to have Bella go badgirl for this movie.

  3. Kelly says:

my GOD, Taylor….uhh YUM. hes def brought on the competition.

  4. Gaby says:

I actually don’t like this poster to much I think the fan poster were alot better. BUt of course Taylor and Robert are looking effing FINE!!!!

  5. kellye says:

Frakking Jacob! He’s like the annoying little brother that won’t go away. So as cute as Taylor is, I’m not super crazy about the character. Like someone else said, this is my least favorite book, so we’ll see how they handle it.

  6. Innara says:

Kristin Stewart needs to learn that emoting is more than staring blankly at a camera. She has practically no vibrancy and personality to her in this poster. You could substitute Grimace and get the same effect.

  7. Kate says:

@kellye: Totally agree! I dont like Jacob at all! Im not a big fan of New Moon, since Im 100% Team Edward! I dont like the way Jacob behaves…he’s annoying.

  8. RazberrySwurl01 says:

    YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just think its funny that rob is the main focus, when he’s not even in the book.

  9. Steph says:

I like this Poster! I think the colors are great! I still dont like Kristen Stewart as Bella, but thats besides the point. This is good. I like how the three of them are together, and almost intertwined in the photo. Like Trent said, this is a good foreshadowing for what unfolds in New Moon! I am really excited to see what Chris Weitz has up his sleeve, I think this movie will be better than Twilight! We will see!

i just came across another version of the poster – its fan made but i like it ALOT better – they put bella in the middle. (hope this link works!)

  11. Kelly says:

I’m sure this has been said, but I didn’t read all 51 posts…Bella should be in the middle, a representation of her struggle between the two guys. And Edward is hardly in the book, he should be in the back. But hey, he’s selling the series, right? A marketing good move, I guess…

  12. Kate says:

Bella just looks too strong. Wasn’t she despondant for the majority of this book? I’m sorry but RPat still looks a little “Frankenstein” in this shot. I can’t wait to see how they film the parts in Italy – I love Alice. She needs her own book. Superman wears Alice Cullen pajamas!!!!

  13. Chloe says:

Kristen Stewart looks kinda fake like a doll or something.and i thought jacob had long hair…?

  14. LISA says:

I don’t like that she’s hanging all over Jacob! I’m in love with Edward… although I must say Jacob is lookin kinda hot in this picture. And now I’m going to jail for thinking minors are hot…

  15. sarah says:

im kind of iffy on the poster but i just need time to warm up to it.
& jacob cuts his hair like half-way through the book, doesn’t he .. so maybe thats why he has short hair. I do think that they should of kept the long hair unless he doesnt have teh long hair for most of the movie ?? mhmm …

  16. Sarah says:

I don’t like it, only because I dont like the way they are standing, robert and kristen look really good but i think kristen should be in the middle or they should be placed differently maybe a hand on each of them or something…like reaching for robert but hes out of reach and taylors holding onto her…that sounds better to me.

  17. Marks says:

The first poster with Jacob was better. Sure, it wasn’t his real body.. but I’m sure they can take a few pointers and give us the real deal..

  18. Monica says:

Ilove it but if u havent read the books u are missing out and the real twilight series experience
    TEAMJACOBALLTHEWAY!!!<33333
